THE AIRPORT was crowded despite it being early in the morning but the staff were all dressed up with their uniforms, perfect make-up and the beautiful smile that was displayed on their lips with no signs of tiredness which shows their professionalism. Ningyi silently saluted them and took a sip of her coffee then munched on the chicken sandwich that Jaixu got for her along with the roll of crab-leg kimbap.
Jiaxu returned to the table with a bowl of chicken porridge and an overpriced airport-tea which looked plain in comparison to the price that was charged. This is another reason why Ningyi refused to buy anything in airport because of it's overpriced foods but Jiaxu deadass brought her all the breakfast which she was thankful.
She was busy getting ready that she forgot to get herself a small breakfast aside from the banana she stuffed in before leaving.
"We've checked in so we still have an hour. After you're done eating, go ahead and take rest for a while" Jiaxu took a full scoop of the porridge and offered Ningyi who denied it by showing her breakfast. The two ate in silence while Ningyi's attention flickered towards the group of pilots and the air-hostess walking together in their blue uniform looking so fresh and smart.
"I wonder how do they keep such posture and work the whole day, smiling and greeting everyone continuosly which I can never"
Ningyi's statement caught Jiaxu's attention and he glanced back to see the group of cabin crew and chuckled "They're also doing their job. They are like us, except that we're just in different field"
Ningyi nodded and continued to look at the crews before her gaze shifted to one particular pilot who looked familiar and instantly, she recognised the person and gasped "No way!"
"Huh?"
"That's my favourite Douyin pilot! See!"
Jiaxu's eyebrows were raised and followed Ningyi's finger that pointed towards a pilot who was tall and had fair skin with good muscular body and small face ─── indeed a Douyin user material. His gaze focused back on Ningyi who was smiling as if she just saw a huge idol star.
"So he's your ideal type?"
Ningyi was taken back when the question arises and shook her head "Not exactly but again, yes, he is just one of my favourite stars on the internet"
