Chp. 26- My Vaggie

Charlie closed her pen and tucked her diary into her dressing table drawer. She had just written about the previous day's events. Her and Lucifer had been doing the usual.

"But today", Charlie thought, "today I will take a break." It had been a while since she had had some time for herself. Today she would just relax for a bit and hang out with Vaggie.

Charlie called out to her goat demons. "Razzle, Dazzle!" Dazzle flew in and landed on  the table. "Dazzle, hey.", Charlie greeted him with a pat on the head. "Where's Razzle?" Dazzle shurgged and shook his head with a hiss. "Huh, well he's here somewhere I'm sure.", Charlie sighed.

She and Razzle worked together to create a little something for Vaggie. Her favourite, strawberry cupcakes!
She wrote a cute little note and decorated the cupcakes with extra sprinkles.

"Vaggie! Vaggie?", Charlie called out. She roamed around in the hallways, checking every room. Until she arrived at their bedroom. "Vaggie, are you there?", she called out, making sure to knock on the door first. Her response was silence. "Vaggie?", she called out again, this time knocking a little louder.

Finally after a minute or two, she pushed the door open herself. Vaggie's bright pink bow was sticking out from behind the bed. "Hey!", Charlie called out but stopped mid way.

The fallen angel was slumped down on the floor, facing away from her. There was a putrid smell there that she hadn't noticed before. Vaggie's hands were covered in some dark liquid. Next to her was a small mass of mangled red fur.

Vaggie turned around, looking at  Charlie with her remaining eye.

Charlie screamed and the tray dropped out of her hands.

She rushed out, locking the door behind her. Vaggie hit the door producing a loud 'thud'.

Charlie sat there covering her mouth, her back to the door. Eventually the noise stopped.

"Charlie, I heard you scream. Are you okay?". Lucifer entered and knelt down beside her. "What's wrong?" "Vag-Vaggie... Vaggie's gone...Vaggie's infected...", Charlie said through sobs. "What? But I thought angels were immune!", Lucifer exclaimed, taken aback. "She's gone...", Charlie said, burying her face in her hands.

Hey guys,
So I haven't updated this story in over 2 months now. Well, I've been struggling with writer's block and between school and other stuff I haven't actually gotten any time to update here.

But I'm back, and I will try to update this as much as I can. I know the story is weird right now, but I'm trying my best. It should be over in about 6-8 chapters.
