I fear getting older.

When the world gets darker,

When we lose one another,

I fear getting older.

When the leaves start changing,

When my heart's always breaking,

I fear getting older.

When my hair starts graying,

As our lives start changing,

I fear getting older.

No one else is staying,

All these people start fading,

I fear getting older.
