Our love (A Draco Malfoy Fanfiction)

Chapter 11

Draco and Autumn became a couple on the 22nd of December. This meant they only had 3 days to get each other the perfect present. Autumn, with Daisy's help, thought about it and she knew exactly what she was going to get Draco. Loverboy, on the other hand, was totally clueless, and Blaise was no help. So, once more, Draco went to the Ravenclaw twin for help.

They decided to meet in the library, and when he arrived, Daisy was already there, her nose stuck in a book. Draco thought she really looked like a princess, the light shining through her brown hair, a lighter shade than Autumn's. Anyways, he shook away this thought and went over to her. "Hey Daisy!" he said, smiling widely, genuinely happy to see his friend. "Hi Draco!" she replied. Draco really needed to get to the point, so he immediately asked her: "Soo, in a couple days it's Christmas and I really have no clue what to get Autumn, and Blaise has been no help. I really need you here Daisy" she chuckled at the desperation in his tone and proceeded on revealing him what the perfect gift for her sister was. Draco thought Autumn was very lucky to have a sister that knew her so well and sprinted off to Hogsmeade to buy his Miss Americana the perfect present.

Christmas eve

Autumn woke up on Christmas eve to the sound of Draco creeping up on her while singing "Merry Christmas". When he saw she was awake, he went over to her bed and kissed her softly. She kissed back and grinned in the kiss, then got up and got dressed with her favourite red jumper. Draco frowned at her clothing choice and said: "Oh come on! You're a Slytherin! Wear green!". "First of all, what's wrong with red? Second, I don't own anything green that I like, and third, this is my favourite jumper." He frowned again, but then his face lit up and he took off his hoodie, which happened to be a deep green. She smiled widely and threw it on. It was three sizes too big and had MALFOY 07 written on the back (it was his quidditch hoodie), but she loved it. Then they stopped at his dorm to pick up a hoodie for him and wake up Blaise, and then the trio headed towards the Great hall to have breakfast and sat with Daisy, who seemed to have taken an interest in a certain Zabini, because she talked all morning only with him. Luckily, this worked for Autumn and Draco, that dumped both of them in the Great hall and went skating on the black lake again. But this time something was different. They were more comfortable with each other and they were kissing every three seconds. After skating in silence for a bit, they started talking about Blaise and Daisy and Draco said: "Maybe one day they will become a couple and Blaise will love your sister like I love you". Autumn froze staring into his silver eyes. Draco froze too. "Did you just say... you love me?" she asked, hesitantly. "Merlin yes Autumn, I love you with all my heart!" Draco said, worried she would not say it back. "Draco Lucius Malfoy, I love you too! With all my heart!" she screamed, while hugging him so tightly he was worried his bones would break. Then, still smiling like idiots, they changed back in their shoes and went back to the castle.

Christmas day

This time, it was Draco's turn to be woken up by an extremely overexcited Autumn, who was jumping around his bed in his green hoodie and a pair of black jeans. "That's my Slytherin princess" he said. She turned and smiled at him. Then she gave him a quick peck on the lips and then went to wake up Blaise. "Come on guys! It's Christmas! Let's go to the common room and open the presents!" Draco and Blaise dressed up and followed her down to the common room. There were plenty of gifts for all three of them. Autumn got a new book of piano sheets from Daisy, a Slytherin jumper from her parents, with a note that said: "Congrats for making slytherin love! So proud of you! Mum and dad, love". Then a smooth hair potion from Pansy, a pair of nargles glasses from Luna and an enchanted quill from Blaise. Draco got an enchanted journal from his mother, an enchanted scarf to keep the wearer always warm from Daisy, an assortment of sweets from Blaise and a vial of liquid luck from Pansy. Blaise got a broom polish kit from Daisy, a sweet dreams potion from Autumn, a drawing set from Pansy and a book about drawing techniques from Draco. After opening their presents, Blaise noticed Draco and Autumn didn't get presents from each other, and said: "You guys didn't get presents from each other!". Autumn chuckled and said she got a present for Draco, she just wanted to give it to him later, and Draco explained he thought the same thing.

Then they went to the Great hall for breakfast. The moment Blaise saw Daisy, he went over to Ravenclaw table. Draco and Autumn grinned at the lovestruck boy and went over to Slytherin table.

After breakfast, they headed to the piano room, and Autumn grabbed a cardboard box with a bow on top of it from the drawer next to the window. "Is that my present?" Draco asked, smiling. "Yes it is. But I want mine first!" Autumn replied, with a devilish glint in her eyes. Draco nodded. "Anything for my princess" he said, knowing it would make her blush. Then he grabbed something wrapped in a very long and thin shape and handed it to her. She opened it, and screamed in surprise, when she saw it was a broomstick, the latest Firebolt model. "Oh Draco! This is wonderful! How did you know I wanted to learn how to fly?" Autumn said, beaming with happiness. "Daisy told me" Draco said, happy she liked it.

"Your turn now!" Autumn gjggled, handicap him the cardboard box. He smiled at her and opened it "Autumn! These are wonderful!" He exclaimed, looking at a brand new pair of figure skates. "But they are so expensive! My mum said she wouldn't buy them for me because they cost too much!" Autumn chuckled and said "Draco Malfoy, did you forget my last name? My family is one of the richest in Britain". Draco smiled and hugged her. "I love them! Best Christmas ever!"
