The mahogany door, inlaid with silver, creaked open, revealing a woman whose aura screamed "power."  She was tall, with a sharp jawline and eyes that held the glint of a predator. This was Orm Sethachon, CEO of Sethachon Limited Company, a woman who had built an empire from the ground up, a woman who saw only the bottom line.

She strode into the office, a whirlwind of ambition and expectation.  Her gaze fell on the man seated at the sleek, chrome desk. He was small, almost fragile, with a cascade of auburn hair framing a face that was both innocent and wise.

"You're late, Mr Kwong," Orm said, her voice a low rumble.

"I apologize, Miss Orm," he replied, his voice as smooth as velvet. "There was an... unforeseen delay."

Orm raised an eyebrow, her gaze sharp. "Unforeseen? I find that hard to believe. You're known for your... efficiency."

"It was an unexpected event," he said, his eyes holding a depth that belied his youthful appearance. "Something I couldn't control."

Orm leaned forward, her gaze intense. "And what was this 'unexpected event'?"

"I saw it," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I saw it coming."

Orm's eyebrows shot up. "Saw it coming? What are you talking about?"

"I saw the future," he said, his voice gaining strength. "And it wasn't what we planned."

Orm stared at him, her mind struggling to grasp the impossible.  She had built her life on logic, on calculated risks, on knowing the game and playing it to win.  But this... this was something else.  Something she couldn't control.

She knew, with a certainty that chilled her, that she was about to enter a world she never dreamed existed.  A world where the future, once a distant possibility, was now a tangible threat.  And the man sitting across from her, with him unsettlingly calm demeanor, held the key to understanding it all.

Unknowingly, Lingling Kwong also foresee their life together but didn't tell the CEO, afraid of what might Orm will say to him.
