Raman and Rukmini reached a cliff riding their horse. Raman jumped off the horse as Rukmini admired the beautiful surroundings. The area was filled with trees, and a dark forest lay ahead, evoking the dark academic aesthetic often described by poets.

As they arrived, they heard the footsteps of committee members and their horses. The men aimed their guns at Rukmini and spoke sternly. "Raman, leave her. She has betrayed us."

Raman, however, ignored them, pulling Rukmini behind him and standing protectively in front of her. "If you want to kill her, you'll have to go through me first," he declared.

The committee members retorted, "Get up, Raman. You can't be this stubborn about her. She’s just a woman who led you astray. You promised us you'd protect our nation and avenge your family's death. Why are you siding with her, the one who helped the British?"

"It's your delusion, sir," Raman replied firmly. "She has never done anything like that. It was another woman."

"How dare you speak to us like that?" the committee members responded angrily. "Then explain why she has the white pearl bracelet we found on the traitor."

Rukmini stepped forward, saying, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I wasn't the one who informed the British about your plans to burn their warehouse. Look, I have my white pearl bracelet here in my hand. The one you're holding is not mine; it's another woman's. Verify it for yourself."

Despite her words, the committee members remained confused and did not relent. They pointed their guns at Rukmini again, prompting Raman to push her behind him, urging her to run.

Tearing up, Rukmini said, "No, Raman, I won't leave you. It's not fair to abandon you in this situation. I will fight for your life until my last breath."

"You have a future," Raman insisted. "You don't belong here. You have to live and tell our story. You can't die here."

Rukmini, with tears streaming down her face, responded, "Nothing is more important to me than you, Raman. I need to save you. I need to protect you from everything you're facing."

The committee members, bewildered by their conversation, continued to point their guns at Rukmini. Desperate, Raman took her bracelet and handed it to them. Upon closer inspection, they realized the bracelet Rukmini wore was the real one, and the one they had was a fake. They left the place, still puzzled.
