With each passing day, a sorrowful stride I take
No respite, no escape, no life to borrow or make
Through unseen eyes, the world I glimpse and pass
A drifting soul, burdened yet radiating a fragile glass
Envy, a relentless companion, draws near
Engulfing my spirit, seeding fear
This melancholic existence, a downward spin
Crushed beneath the weight, my soul growing thin
Swaying like waves upon an endless sea
Do I belong here? Who am I meant to be?
Unraveling ties that bind, step by weary pace
Approaching a demise, an end I cannot chase
In desperate longing, I reach for the light of day
Or is perpetual darkness where I'm destined to stay?
An endless tunnel ahead, no glimmer to be found
My path obscured, lost in a haze profound
Oh, how I despise this outside world, so cold
Rotating on its axis, as my spirit is twirled
Worry becomes my constant companion, hope, a mere thread
Falling down this steep slope, towards my final shred
