"Sienna, could you get me a Dr. Pepper while you're in there?" Sienna's mom, Ela, shouted to Sienna through the half-closed car window. Sienna sighs and grabs her change, just enough to buy the soda. She walks through the aisle to grab her drink and then walks to the cashier

She bumped into the counter and looked up, embarrassed to see a smiling boy looking down at her. He had wavy hair, or even loose curls, with dark brown eyes. She stared at him for a little bit too long. He cleared his throat. "Is this all you need?" *He takes the soda out of her hand.* "What? Oh. Yes, please." Her voice pitched slightly higher as she tried to seem normal. She stared at him even more as he put the soda in a bag for her to carry. Once he handed her the bag, she looked in it to see pack of Taki Stix. "Hey, was this by accident?" She seemed confused. "No, it's on the house."

"She walks back to the car." "What took you so long, Sisi?" Sienna shook her head. "I wasn't even in there that long." Ela pauses. "So, that boy, huh? He's cute, isn't he?" She cracked the can open; a fizzing sound ringing in Sienna's ear. "I guess you could say that. Can we get out of here?"
She seemed annoyed, but she started thinking. He was smiling an awful lot. No, he was just doing his job, but his cute smile was... ugh.

Sienna was on a call with her friend Kami on the bus, laughing about dumb things as they always do. Suddenly, there is a harsh brake. It was her stop. A few kids stood up and walked outside. She was starting to forget about the cashier. Suddenly, she looks at the other side of the street at Saint James High School. There he was, walking to his apartment. "Oh my God," Kami says. "Sisi? What's happening?" He looked back her way. They made eye contact before her mom put a hand on her shoulder. Sisi flinches and rolls her eyes. "Is that the gas station clerk?" Sisi hangs up on Kami when her mom got there. "Maybe, I don't know. It's like he's following us or something," Ela jokes.

Kami started texting her, "What happened? Why did you hang up?" She ignored and before she looked up, she tripped over her shoelace and fell right into a puddle. With her jeans soaked and a look of embarrassment on her face, she looked back at the boy's face. There was a small smirk on his face. She was so embarrassed. But why? She didn't even know him. Why does she want to please him? Her mind races. Quickly, she hurries into her apartment to change.

She walks out of her room in pajamas into her living room. Her mom mentions to her, "Hey, about that cashier boy-" "What's with you and that cashier boy?" *Ela rolls her eyes* "Let me finish. I think I might know his mom." "What? How?" "I was looking at a throwback post about him on Facebook and one of the photos of him as a little kid has you in it." *Sienna looks confused* "Wouldn't he remember me?" *Ela shrugs* "You guys were little. Maybe I shouldn't get in touch with her again since you like her son so much." *Sienna lets out an annoyed sigh before saying, "I don't like him. I saw him once- twice, but that means nothing!"

Ela smirks, "Whatever you say." Sienna was acting annoyed before she embarrassedly asked, "Maybe you could try to bring them over though." Sienna clears her throat and says, "Yeah, sure."

Her mom took that as an invitation to the whole town! Okay, well not really, but she invited a lot of people. Sisi was in an uncomfortable dress, on her phone on the couch, bored out of her mind. She thought the cashier boy would be there. Someone then sits next to her, also on her phone. She looks up from her slouched position to see him. She sits up, embarrassed, and he smiles at her. "Hey," she gets butterflies when she hears his voice. "Hi... do I know you?" She tries to play cool, practically melting at his knees. "I've seen you once or twice," she looks away before looking back at him. "So, what's your name?" "Wyatt," she nods slowly. "I'm Sienna, or Sisi, whatever's cool," he looks down at his phone. "My mom told me we used to know each other?"

"Uh, maybe," "I think I remember you. We used to be friends or something of the sort," Sisi looks embarrassed. "We should keep in touch," Wyatt breaks the silence.

Sienna nods and grabs her phone, fumbling with it in her hand. She types in his number and smiles at him. Was he trying to be friendly, or was it more? She's thought over the past couple of days, always somehow bumping into him or seeing him. Was it fate? Oh, of course not, she thinks she's just getting ahead of herself. Wait, has she been staring at him this whole time? "So, uh, what are your hobbies?" she tries to break the silence. "Well, I ride a motorcycle and like motorcycles, if that counts," he smiles at her. "Oh yeah, that totally counts," she tries to play it cool. "You actually think so?" he asks. "Um, yes? Motorcycles are like sooo fun!" God, she was embarrassing herself, but he just laughed it off, leaving Sienna flustered.

"Maybe we should get out of here," sneaking out with a boy? Her mom would kill her! But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity... Maybe, but that's not the point. So, just had to go. "Yes- I mean sure," he smiles and pulls her by her hand through the groups of people to a bedroom, and he leans against the window. "Should I go first or you?" She gulps. "You," he chuckles and climbs out the window. "Your turn." She looks down. "I don't know about this, Wyatt." He thinks. "How about you go halfway and I pull you down?" She nods and starts climbing halfway. He puts his hands on her hips, helping her down. Butterflies pool into her belly. He pulls her down. "There," he dusts off the bottom of her dress. He starts walking her to the gas station he works at.

They were snacking on gummies under a desk in their cashier area. She was giggling, and he just looked into her eyes. Suddenly, she stops and sits up. "What? Is there something on my face?" She pats around her face to feel something. "No," she looks up with a look of confusion on her face. "Then what is it?" There was a pause. He looked deeper into her eyes as he leaned in. In a blink of an eye, his lips were on hers in a powerful, passionate kiss.
