Wedding Night 2.0 - Part II

"Natasha...arey ruko to...ek bar dekh to lo...you don't even know kaisa hai."  He was still in a daze as she had gotten up so suddenly but he was surprised at how easily she was going to wear this. Especially after the shock they had just gotten.

"Its ok...I trust you" She replied, shutting the bathroom door, her brain still replaying the moment she had run from. She knew this wasn't anything like what was hanging in the wardrobe. The way he had reacted had told her enough. Natasha went into the bathroom to change. It was a night wear set of a lace trimmed cropped camisole top with thin spaghetti straps and an option of a matching full pyjamas or shorts and a coverup robe with it. It was so pretty that Natasha just adored it for a few minutes before changing into it. She liked the way it felt on her, buttery soft and silky, almost weightless.

Dhawal's just couldn't take his eyes off her as she came out, looking almost like an angel in creamy white, the robe loosely tied around her waist. Her slightly dishevelled hair from his fingers running through them giving it a sensual appearance, making him want to bury his fingers in it again. He didn't even know when he reached her side, picking her up in his arms effortlessly in a smooth move and she looped an arm around his neck.

Their hearts thudded in anticipation of what was coming as he slowly walked to the bed. The nervousness inside Natasha had doubled up making her aware of every movement, every step he took. She clutched his collar as he kneeled on the bed and started to lower her-

A low crunching noise sounded as her back hit the mattress, making them freeze. They exchanged a confused look between them, unable to understand where it was coming from. Natasha rolled slightly to the right and left and it appeared again. Dhawal tapped around on the bedsheet and felt something flat beneath it. He smacked a hand over it and it crumbled. A snort came out of Natasha at this and Dhawal caught her eye, making both of them break out in uncontrollable laughter, dissipating the tense romantic atmosphere instantly.

Still laughing, Dhawal pulled her up from the bed with one hand and stripped off the bedsheet with other, revealing rows and rows of papads spread out on the mattress which made them go into another bout of laughter.

"Bhabhis!" they said simultaneously.

Saare paapad toone chahiye, samajh gye na dono! Dolly's words echoed in their heads and a slight awkwardness set as the implication of those words sunk in. Fumbling with the sheets, they tied up the incriminating paapads in one and spread out another clean one on the bed to sleep on.

Both of them stood beside the bed, waiting for the other to get in, the reality of tonight finally approaching peak. It was their first time sleeping on a bed together as during their first marriage either one of them was always sleeping on the sofa.

Natasha was looking forward to it and a bit wary as well. They hadn't talked at all about where they stood in this aspect of their relationship. Well, there wasn't really any time to dwell on these things when so many other things were taking up space in their minds. But now that they were here, in this moment, she had no idea what was Dhawal thinking or what he was expecting. She herself didn't know where she stood in this. Of course, it wasn't mandatory that they had to do anything or everything but she loved him and a part of her was craving his closeness, his touch, wanting to do so many things with him after being apart from him for so long. But the other part was afraid of the unknown, of her inexperience. And her heart and mind were see-sawing in between this indecision.

Dhawal was in a similar dilemma but not quite as much as Natasha. One thing was clear in his mind. They were going to do whatever they felt was the best for them. Be it in regards to the way their relationship progressed or the way they handled their families expectations. They were going to project a united front. But tonight, in this aspect of their relationship, whatever Natasha wanted would go. He was a guy and of course, had desires and fantasies of his own with regards to tonight. But none were more important than the girl he was in love with and he loved and respected her way too much to do anything against her wishes. He actually didn't care about anything else except being with her for the rest of his life now. She was it for him. But that didn't mean he wasn't going to romance his wife tonight.
