The Wedding Vacation [CHANLIX]

PRESENT - HAWAII  VACATION - FEW DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING

(FELIX POV) 

"Thats right Felix...Cough it out...you doing good...breath", I heard his voice over and over in my ears as I vomited the ocean water that filled my lungs. He patted my back making it easier for the water to come out as he sat down next to me on the sand.

My lungs, head and throat ached so much as I coughed out the last of the remaining water filled inside my lungs that I consumed due to my stupidness of trying to kill myself by drowning, which didn't work by the way.

I laid with my back on the sand trying to catch my breath before slowly titling my head upwards to take a quick glance at this dumb person who destroyed my plan of ending my life. As my eyes cleared from the salty water, the minute I saw it was Chan, I glared at him, for he was another problem I wanted to get rid of by ending myself today.

He was wet all over (gosh he looked so hot too). He was also panting from probably giving me mouth to mouth resuscitation and CPR. "Are you okay", he asked in worried tone while lowering his head to look at me, but I just ignored him as I strugglingly tried to sit up, brushing his hand away when he tried to help. 

I ignored his question as I sat up looking at the beautiful ocean ahead, while Chan sighed before sitting with his knees up also staring at the vast ocean infront of us. After few minutes of uncomfortable silence, Chan suddenly turned his head to look at me, "You wanna talk about it?".

I just closed my eyes and tears instantly fell on my face and heard him sigh heavily this time before getting up and staring down at me, "I'll go get you a blanket, water and something for your headache, and then maybe, we can have that talk", he said before turning and leaving me sitting on the sand.

I don't know why, but I suddenly looked back at him as he walked back to his bungalow and I called out for him, "CHAN!". It did catch his attention because he immediately turned back facing me, and to his surprise, I got up and ran right to him and hugged him with my trembling arms wrapping tightly around his neck as if my life depended on it.

He caressed my back soothingly and he didn't say anything back, I guess he's waiting for me to say something first. "I'll tell you everything, just, please don't leave me". I sobbed out in his arms while Chan tightened the embrace before nodding his head on my neck. 

"Let's get you inside first yea!" he told me, which I concurred.

FLASHBACK: 3 WEEKS before the Hawaii Vacation - 

The Engagement Party🎈🎉💐🌺🍷🍽️

Felix sat pouting in the changing room by the dressing table at the hotel where he and Yibo's engagement party is being held. Hyunjin sighed at his expression as he did his make-up. He then decided to sit next to Felix and faced him, "Lixie, I know you don't want this marriage to happen, but it's always been your family's tradition".

"I don't care!!", Felix snapped at him looking away. Hyunjin exhaled sharply thinking of what else to say to liven his friend's mood up. "Look at the bright side Lix, at least this Yibo guy is attractive and handsome and filthy rich....

"....even though your dad passed on 'may he rest in peace' the guy still paid a huge dowry to your brother and mother for your hand in marriage, and even helped your family's dying business when Minho (Felix's brother) almost shut it down, all because of you....

".....Damn, I'll do the same if my parents arranged me to be married to you too sunshine, just look at yourself...and look at the bright side, at least you won't be waking up every morning next to some 80 year balls", he smirked, making Felix glance at him before laughing along.
