"Less kissing, more driving!" Calista yelled out the window, her voice tinged with playful frustration as she watched Belly and Jere delay her departure. "You'll have more time for that later!"

Conrad, laughing, gently pulled her back from the window, wrapping his arms around her waist and drawing her close. "Leave them alone," he teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief and affection.

They both chuckled, but as they stood there, their laughter softened into a more intimate, charged silence. There was something undeniably magnetic between them, a deep, unspoken connection that had only grown stronger with time. It was as if they were in their own world, separated from the chaos and distractions around them.

Calista gazed up at Conrad, her heart pounding in her chest. His touch, the warmth of his embrace, made her feel exposed in a way she rarely allowed herself to be. With him, she felt like she could be completely and utterly herself. It was a stark contrast to the emptiness she'd felt when her father left, a void Conrad had filled with his steady presence and unwavering support.

Conrad's hands cupped her face gently as he leaned in, his eyes locked onto hers with a tender intensity. Slowly, almost as if savoring each moment, their lips met. The kiss began softly, but quickly ignited into something deeper and more passionate. It was as if every touch, every caress, was a revelation, each kiss a promise of something enduring and profound.

Breathless, Calista pulled back slightly, her cheeks flushed and her heart racing. She looked at Conrad with a mix of longing and determination. "I—I have to get ready for work," she stammered, her voice betraying her.

Conrad, however, wasn't ready to let go. He leaned in, his breath warm against her skin. He murmured something she couldn't hear, his voice a low whisper that made her shiver. Her cheeks flushed, trying to regain her composure, but the heat of the moment was undeniable.

"Seriously, Conrad," she said, though her tone was playful and reluctant. "If I don't hurry, I'll be late."Still, he pulled her back towards him, his arms around her waist.

"You're already here," he said softly, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "Let's just enjoy this moment." Despite her best intentions to keep things moving, Calista found herself drawn back into his embrace. The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, lost in their own bubble of intimacy and affection. It was a brief but perfect escape from reality.

Eventually, with a reluctant sigh, Calista pushed Conrad gently but firmly. "I really have to go now," she said, her voice a mixture of playful insistence and genuine necessity.

Conrad, with a final, lingering kiss, reluctantly released her. "Alright," he said, his voice filled with a blend of disappointment and affection. He then seemed deep in thought, "Does this mean I won't see you until tonight?"
