"You're finally here," he said, moving a whiskey glass and sit in his comfortable leather chair, the gun on the table. "Sit down, please," he said, pointing to the chair in front of him.
He took a sip of whiskey, his gaze unwavering."Did you take care of that last target?" he asked as he set the glass down on the table. He leaned back, the faint light from the dim lamp in the room casting shadows on his face. Jimin stirs in his seat "Yes sir"
"You're always so efficient," he said, a hint of respect in his voice, yet devoid of any warmth. He leaned forward, his gaze piercing through Jimin.
"We need to discuss your next assignment.""This one is going to require a delicate approach," he continued, his eyes never leaving Jimin’s face. “Target is a high-profile one, and we can't afford any mistakes."
"The client wants this done quietly, without drawing any attention." He paused, leaning back in his chair. "You will be dealing with a well-protected individual. Security will be tight. You cannot fail."
Jimin looked at him with curiosity and just nods his head "You are my most trusted asset," he said, studying Jimin's face for any sign of doubt or hesitation. "I'm giving this assignment to you because I know you'll get the job done efficiently."
He paused for a moment, swirling the golden liquid in his glass. "This target is of great importance to us, Jimin. Failure is not an option."
Jimin starts to get up and walks towards the door reaching for the handle
"And Jimin," he added, his tone growing slightly colder. "Don't let your mental health get in the way this time."
He stops..."what did you just say"
He raised an eyebrow, his gaze hardening. "It's a fact. Your mental health affects your performance. You're aware of that, right?"
Jimin swings the door open and walks out. When ever yoongi talks about anything about his mental health it hurts..brings him down.
He called out just as Jimin turned to leave. "Sit back down. We're not done." There was an edge in his tone that bordered on impatience.
He watched Jimin closely, the whiskey in his glass now forgotten. "You've never walked out in the middle of a conversation with me," he said, his voice stern. "I expect loyalty and compliance. Don't make me doubt your commitment to this job."
Jimin stops in his tracks for the second time "things change min"
He nodded slowly, his gaze steady. "Things change indeed."
He leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. "But my expectations remain the same. I want assurance that your mental health won't jeopardize this mission."Jimin closes the door with annoyance trying to get away from yoongi
He let out a sigh, his patience being tested. He was not used to this level of defiance from Jimin.
He finished his whiskey in one swift gulp before setting the glass down. "Jimin," he called out once more. "Come back here."His voice echoed through the room, a commanding tone that demanded obedience. "Don't make me repeat myself," he warned, his voice tinged with a hint of anger.
He waited a few moments, but the silence persisted. He clenched his jaw, frustrated. "Dammit, Jimin."
He stood up from his chair, his movements tense. He didn't like being defied, especially by one of his most trusted operatives. He crossed the room, his footsteps heavy on the hardwood floor. When he reached the door, he grabbed the handle and turned it, but it didn't budge.
Jimin had locked it from the inside.
