To put it short, you died. You died and now here you are walking around the school and observing the interactions between students. It didn't matter if you were invading their privacy, after all, you were dead. And you know the saying, two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

During your first week after you woke up as a ghost, you spent a lot of time brooding and thinking about a lot of things. You literally died, of course, you'd be shocked.

But after some time reflecting, you accepted your fate and instead decided to wander around the school's vicinity. That was when you found out you couldn't leave the school grounds. You tried everything, the schoolyard, the front entrance, hell, even possessing a student, yet you just can't leave the school vicinity. It was as if something was preventing you from leaving.

Another big thought that had occurred to you was that if you were a ghost, you'd probably be dead, obviously. The only problem was how. How did you die? You remember reading something about vengeful spirits in an online article. Something about them being tied to where they died. You weren't sure if the article was true or not, but that could be the reason why you couldn't leave the school at all.

After being stuck in the school, you grew bored with every passing day. You were a ghost, you can't eat, sleep, talk with people, or anything. However, something you did find great amusement from was being able to slightly lift objects, making them appear as if it was floating in the air. You couldn't stop laughing when you lifted the pencil from Musume's desk, and she started screaming like a madman. She even accused the occult club of supernatural activity.

Another thing you learned was that you could possess people. Well, not really. You can infuse your soul with someone else, but only for a minute or two. And you didn't even have full control when you did possess someone. It was like two minds working at one. Whenever you tried to do something, the person's soul would fight back and do what they wanted to do. It got pretty annoying, but it does serve as some sort of entertainment once in a while.

But as a few weeks went by, those even grew boring as time went on and on. There was nothing to do, and you soon felt yourself grow lonely. No one to talk to. Just you, yourself, and your thoughts.

That was, until, one day.

"Bye, Kokona! I'll see you tomorrow. Make sure to check your phone before going to bed, I need to text you something, so stay up, okay?" The girl, Saki, waved to her friend.

"Yes, of course. Let me know if you make something sweet during your club meeting, alright? See you, Saki." Kokona bid her adieu, unbeknownst to the girl right in front of them, listening to their conversation.

"Oh, Kokona. If only you'd removed those twin tails. I can picture it right now, hair down and silky. Oh, boys will surely love that." You said to her, shaking your head in disappointment, knowing you'd never get a response back.

It was the end of the school day when clubs would take place and do their usual activities, nothing special.

You remember during your first year when you shyly joined the drama club, interested in improving your acting skills. Only for that arrogant upper-classman, Kizo...Kizana...kiz— whatever, he's unimportant anyway.

Yesterday, you visited the Martial Arts Club to observe the member's combat skills. You were impressed, to say the least. You couldn't judge them on improper form or anything because you were clueless about anything combat-related. But that shouldn't matter anyway, you're dead.

Today's club on the list was the Occult Club. You weren't all too pleased to visit because of its dark and gloomy atmosphere but decided anyway to get a feel of a different atmosphere.
