Fahlada sat at her desk, flipping a small, silver coin between her finger. Her office, nestled within the shadowy corners of a high-rise tower, felt colder than usual. It was a familiar feeling - one that she had grown accustomed to. Her empire stretched across the city, a silent dominion she ruled with an iron grip, but today, a ripple of unease hung in the air. She couldn't shake the sense that something was terribly wrong.

Her eyes shifted towards the photo on her desk, an image of Earn with her sun-bright smile and a small smile on Fahlada's lips was formed. Earn was the light in her otherwise dark world. Fahlada, feared by many and cold-hearted in battle, softened only for her partner, her wife. Protecting Earn had become her singular focus, but in her line of work, that was easier said than done.

A sudden knock at the door broke her train of thought. It was Tan, her ever-loyal second-in-command. His usual calm face was now etched with tension.

"We have a problem," he said, his voice low.

Fahlada stood, her movements deliberate. She knew that tone - it meant something serious. "What happened?" she asked, walking over to meet Tan.

Tan handed her a tablet with a video playing on the screen. The sight of Wisanu, her long-time rival, grinning menacingly made Fahlada's blood run cold. A deep frown etched across her otherwise impassive face as she stared at the grainy video on her tablet.

Wisanu's voice echoed through the speakers, his arrogant tone filling the silence: "You've taken what's mine, Fahlada. Now, I'll take what's most precious to you. Return my territory, or you'll never see Earn alive again."

Behind him, Earn was bound to a chair, her mouth gagged, eyes reflecting anger and resistance. Bruises bloomed across her face, her lip split open, a stark contrast to her usual bright and carefree demeanor. Fahlada's blood boiled at the sight. Rage flared in her eyes, but beneath it was a gut-wrenching fear for Earn's safety.

Without a word, she stood, her expression dark, the flicker of rage barely concealed. Tan stood nearby, watching her, knowing full well what was about to happen. He'd seen this side of Fahlada many times before - cold, calculated, and ready for war.

"Where is he?" she demanded, her voice a deadly calm.

"We've traced the signal to an abandoned warehouse in the docks," Tan replied.

"I'm going to kill him," Fahlada said, her voice eerily calm, as if she were discussing the weather.

Tan nodded, already moving to prepare. "Bow's already positioned at the docks. She is covering the perimeter. We can strike as soon as you're ready."

Fahlada's eyes, dark and deadly, never left the image of Earn. The rage that simmered within her had reached its boiling point. There was nothing that would stop her now. She would bathe in blood if she had to, as long as she had Earn safe in her arms again.

The night air at the docks smelled of saltwater and rust. The waves slapped against the wooden beams of the pier, their sound lost amid the muddled chatter of armed men stationed around the warehouse.

Inside one of the vehicles parked near the docks, Fahlada sat with Tan, her mind focused on the mission ahead. But it wasn't just about territory anymore - it was about getting Earn back, safe and unharmed.

Tan, noticing the tension in Fahlada's usually composed demeanor, spoke quietly. "We'll get her back. Wisanu doesn't stand a chance against you."

Fahlada nodded, though her gaze remained fixed ahead. "He's made it personal. He'll regret it."

As the clock ticked down, Fahlada's team was ready to move. They were a small, elite group, handpicked for loyalty and skill.

From her vantage point, Bow lay flat on her stomach on a rooftop overlooking the building, sniper rifle pressed snugly into her shoulder. Through the scope, she spotted several guards patrolling the area, unaware of the danger that lurked just outside their grasp.
