Mini Story 1: Welcome Back, My Finest Creation!

SCHALE Building: Underground workbench

After dealing with Abydos, Eggman-Sensei decided he would fix Metal Sonic, to make himself less lonely and for emergency situations. Not too long ago, he asked Rin if he could have a building permit to build an underground workbench under the Schale Office. And Rin originally didn't approve of it and commented that he's weird for wanting to have one, but after some convincing she eventually approved it. After all, he has been a very outstanding employee. And the building is all for him, anyways. Of course, he built it himself with his own funds that he has been saving up. It was a pretty easy task for him, he has done more impressive things within a day than this. Anyways, back to Metal Sonic. At this hour, he's fixing Metal Sonic to be his true triumph card and if he gets into an emergency. So, he fixes Metal Sonic not only to help his loneliness, but to have protection for himself if no one is there to help him.

Eggman-Sensei: "Alright! Just a little bit more!"
While still attached to a few computer cables, Metal Sonic's red menacing eyes glows up. Metal Sonic is now online.
Eggman-Sensei: "Yoshi! It works!"
Metal Sonic: "..."
Eggman-Sensei: "Welcome back online, my finest creation! Good to see you back!"
Metal Sonic: "MASTER. DR. EGGMAN...? ...!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Yes! It is me, my boy! Oh, and there's a few new changes I've done to you. As you can see, I have given you a voice chip! You can now talk! However it's still really limited, so you can only say a few words at a time."
Metal Sonic: "..."
Eggman-Sensei: "I have done a few changes to you, Metal. For example, I've removed all your evil coding! I also have given you free will, but I have made you still unable to be rebellious against me."
Metal Sonic: "...WHY?"
Eggman-Sensei: "So, you remember back home when I wanted to become a teacher? Well, your papa here is a teacher now! But! We're no longer home now. Let's just say we're no longer home, Metal. In this place, there is no more Sonic. The only Sonic left is you."
Metal Sonic: "...!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Yes Metal! Now that other Sonic is no longer here, and you're the only Sonic standing! Though... to tell you the truth, he's not defeated and is really just not here. That's all."
Metal Sonic: "..."
Eggman-Sensei: "Well, you'll have to get used to this new place. You are allowed to go anywhere freely. You still have your uses for me, of course. But... I have given you a new purpose now. Be free."
He then pulls the cables that were connected to Metal Sonic. And asks him this question.
Eggman-Sensei: "Metal, I have given you free will and you're free to do anything you want now. I, on behalf of the Eggman Empire and SCHALE has given you permission to leave me. Are you going to leave me?"
Metal Sonic looks at him in silence, and replays old memories of him being fixed by his father.
Metal Sonic: "NEGATIVE."
Eggman-Sensei: "Really...? But why? I've given you free will and... Oh well. It doesn't matter anymore, you're making me tear up! Sniffles"
He then pats Metal Sonic on the head.
Eggman-Sensei: "Now, I'll show you a glimpse of this new place we're both in, Metal."

SCHALE Building: The rooftops

Eggman-Sensei: "This, my boy is the city we're in. It's called Kivotos! It's an academy city where a majority of the city are ran and inhabited by students. And I'm their teacher! You could be my assistant, too! The normal civilians around here are animal people, and robots!"
Metal Sonic: "KIVOTOS..."
Eggman-Sensei: "This place is very massive. There are many schools here, but we'll get to it when we get there. Oh, I should show you your new little sister, aside from Sage. You can call her, Arona! Arona, say hi to your new aniki, Metal Sonic!"
Arona: "Ah! Sensei! You scared me there! W-Wait... aniki?!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Indeed! You now have a aniki, Metal Sonic! Or just, call him Sonic."
Arona: "Oh! Hi there my new aniki!"
Metal Sonic then waves his hand at his new little sister inside the tablet.
Eggman-Sensei: "Here, I hope you could start a new life. Since most of the civilians here are robots, maybe you could get to know them too one day. Maybe even meet my students, too! I'll let you roam around freely tomorrow while I do paperwork. One last thing, Now that I have responsibilities, please do not run at mach speed on the streets, will you? Only do it on the rooftops or areas with no residency. Anyways, would you like to do a test run, Metal? Go 100 kilometers on all directions and come back to me. What do you say?"
Metal Sonic nods, and prepares his jet engine.
Eggman-Sensei: "That's my boy! Now 3... 2... 1... GO!"
Metal Sonic blasts away, at supersonic speeds. Making a loud noise for everyone below, but only for a moment. Everyone below him can only question, just what was that thing? And why do they hear an echoing voice when it happened?
