"What do you see in him?"
The question echoed through the room. Every AB member was sitting quietly as they watched Dan process the question. His face was neutral, thinking deeply about it, not knowing how to respond to his friends. He could name out a few things, sure, but there would be no end.
He loved his eyes, those fierce maroon eyes that he could get lost in. His genuine smile, it was one of the most beautiful things he's seen. He has seen how much he cares for his sister; he knows the latter would do anything for his sister's sake.
Magnus was just amazing. He managed to get stronger and gain new powers no one was able to unlock on his very own. He loved how the older boy could withstand any situation and navigate through it. Dan just couldn't help but admire the older boy.
He has seen him at his worst, and so has the other boy.
Dan took in a deep breath and looked at his friends with a small smile on his face and simply said: "Everything you don't."
