THE SUN BLAZED down, creating a soft glow against rowan skin. she sat on a boat, that rocked back and forth, making her feel slightly uneasy at the feeling.
everyone she had gathered herself with was sat on this same boat, as chris had the amazing idea of hiring it for the day, so they could enjoy the oceanic experience of croatia.
the salty air grasped her hair, making it slightly knotted and dry. molly sat next to her, combing the said hair through her fingers, struggling to get it untangled every so often.
george and chris were no longer on the boat, and instead floated in the water, wrestling each other to see who could get the other one down first. arthur, the only slightly civilised man of the group hung back with molly and rowan.
a large sigh, unprepared by anyone, erupted from mollys mouth. both rowan and arthur looked to molly, then at each other with similar looks of confusion.
"what's up?" rowan asked, although she was slightly weary. molly looked up from her phone, her eyes hung lowly.
"everything,"
"uh oh," arthur said quietly, mainly planning on it being kept to himself. he slowly scooted away on the damp plastic surface, not wanting to be involved in the solving of this 'issue'.
"what's happened?"
"nothing,"
"molly,"
"what?"
"you're not giving me anything to work with," she exclaimed, she sat up from her slouched position, and looked deep into her eyes. "what happened?"
"silas,"
rowans eyes darkened. the mention of that name triggering her.
"don't make me start tweaking," she warned.
mollys frown upturned, a small chuckle rising to her voice.
"he's being annoying," she groaned, her wet head looking up into the blaring sun. rowan placed her hand onto the top of her head, pulling it back up to look at her.
