After I saw the screen I almost fell on the floor but luckily the doctor was behind me to catch me. "You should go back to bed, your still ill remember." Suggested the doctor. "Sure" I said as we started to walk to bed.
when i got into bed, my nose started tickling so i grabbed the hankerchief from my pocket and started having a sneezing fit. it lasted for a few minutes. when it stopped i was exausted. i lay my head down on the soft pillows. i pulled the soft blankets up to my neck.
i was just about to drift off to sleep in till i felt a warm hand on my forehead. i opened my eyes and saw river checking my temperature. "your burning up" she said. she felt the temperature on my cheeks aswell. "here take a sip of this." she handed me a cup of what looked like water. "id it wader?" i asked sounded very congested. "dont know, the tardis gave it to me." replied river. she sat down on the side of my bed. "maybe its a cure" river said. she brushed the hair from my eyes.
i took a sip of the water and handed it to river. "you feeling any better?" but before i could answer i fell unconsious.
i guess i stopped breathing because when i woke up i was gasping for air. i clutched my chest from lack of air. i saw the river staring at me smiling. "you guys did it, im cured of the poison and most of my illness." i didn't sound so congested any more but still had bit of a cough and sneezed every so often.
"weres the d-doctor?" i asked looking confused. "oh he went to bed early he said he was tierd." she explained. "but time lords only go to bed if they are ill or dying." i replied. i sat up and dangled my feetoff the bed. "you can go to bed river, im fine now." you could tell she didn't want to even though you could tell she was tierd just by looking at her.
she walked out the room and i followed her to make sure she went to bed. "night river" i smiled as she tried to walk to the control room. she looked back and sighed "night" as she walked into her bedroom and closed the door.
i walked up to the doctors room and saw the light was on. i knocked three times ond said "are you dressed?" there was a scilent "yes" i entered and asked "are you ok i mean you never go to bed" i said to him.
by looking at him you could tell he wasn't well. "i have not been feeling well for the past few days. ive had a tummy bug. ive been throughing up aswell." i passed him the bin just in case he felt that ill. "i couldn't have got it off you because you had a cheasty cough, head ache and rapid sneezing. i wounder if i got it off river, could you ask her please." i nodded and walked down to rivers room. i knocked then walked in. she was already in bed reading a book. she heard me walking in and put the book down.
"hey river, quick question, a few days ago did you have a tummy bug?" i asked. she looked at me concerned. "yes why, have one of you two caught it?" she replied sitting up. "1 you should have told us and 2 i was just woundering thanks." i said. she nodded as i walked out of the room.
i walked back to the doctors room. i walked in i noiticed his head was in the bucket and it wasnt pritty what went in to the bucket either. i went over to him and held his hair back. when he was finished i asked "do you want to me to get river?" i said. he looked at me he looked like he was going to throw up again so he nodded and then his head went back into the bucket.
"RIVER!!!" i screamed. i heard her running down the hall into the doctors room. "what whats happening?" she asked before noiticing the ill doctor. she ran over to him and put her hand on his back. "how long has he been like this" river asked. "he said the past few days. thats why i asked you if you had a tummy bug" i replied.
as we finished that sentence the doctor lowerd the bucket and lay back down almost crushing rivers hand. river grabbed a tissue and whiped his mouth while i felt his temperature. he was burning up. his hands were wrapped round his stomach. i put the bin on the floor and stood up. "do you two want anything?" i asked tierd. "i think i'll sleep with the doctor to look after him tonight. can i have a glass of water please?" river asked. i nodded "doctor?" i asked. but he was already asleep.
i got river her water and then went to bed. i couldnt help thinking about the ill doctor. a few hours later i fell asleep but waking up every hour with the same nightmare of the doctor dying.
