"This color would look pretty on a bridesmaid dress, don't you think?" Aolani muses.

"Or this one!" Salma gasps. "It contrasts so well against white, doesn't it cuñada?"
|Spanish- Sister in law.|

"You do realize your brother has not proposed yet?" I point out. "Ethan met his wife much later than Santiago met me but still proposed."

"Yeah, but that's different, Lani," Salma responds. "It was life or death."

The memories of Ethan's torrid love story clash in my mind. Salma has a point. But that doesn't mean I wasn't a little jealous of being a bridesmaid at a wedding and not the bride.

I look at the fabric color Aolani dances in my face. It is a pretty shade. I look at the fabric Salma is holding. This would go well with the white of a wedding dress. "Ugh, I love weddings," Salma gushes. "I just love love."

I side-eye her. "You're literally gorgeous, Salma. Not to mention you're super smart and almost too nice. Why are you still single?"

Her cheeks break into a light blush. "Uh...well, I have my eye on someone..."

Aolani and I gasped in excitement. "Well, don't be all quiet now," Aolani muses. "Spill."

Salma shakes her head. "I don't want to jinx it yet. But...as soon as I know something definite, you will too."

I eye the different dresses hanging on the rack. I see a low-cut red dress that Santiago would love me in.

"I thought we were getting lingerie for you and Santiago's anniversary," Aolani points out because now three dresses are in my arm.

"I don't think I can walk into the restaurant with nothing but underwear, now, can I?" I retort and Salma and Aolani both laugh in response.

"Now, that would give my brother a real surprise for your anniversary!"

We continued shopping until I settled on a sparkly red one with a slit. I got a white-laced leotard type of thing that cupped my breast. "Ah, you look so sexy," Aolani giggles. "He won't be able to keep his hands off of you."

My phone rang as we walked out of the store. "What's up, Camille?" I answered the phone.

"You need to get to the office. There's an emergency!" That's all she gives me and then she hangs up.

"Sal, I need a ride back to the office. Apparently, it's an emergency."

A few months after my trip back home, I talked to different investors with Abel's help. Cami and I came up with the idea of creating a matchmaking company. We both found loving relationships at an office, so it would be nice to do it for other people.
