Chapter 23

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry y'all you'll be getting Lauren again, but today I decided to switch it up.

* Evilly rubs hands together*

Get ready....

- Seth's POV -

"Move it!!!!!" A football player shoves into me as I run to catch the ball.

I almost went face first into the ground but was able to spring up last second.

But unlucky I wasn't able to catch the ball and it feel into the awaiting hands of none other than Luke. This guy never stops, does he?

"You do know the goal is to catch the ball? Right? Not do gymnastics on the feild?" He laughed at his own joke.

I keep my face expressionless. "I'll get it next time."

Luke's smirk stayed the same, "by the way you play? Doubt it."

"Okay boys! Enough talking!!!!!!! Let's try play number eighteen now!!!" Coach yelled for us.

I ran to my spot and got crouched down and ready for the play. Just my luck was right beside me.

One of the football yelled out, "ready.... Hike!!!!"

The ball is thrown backwards that I get a running head start towards the goal as I watched the ball sore through the air. Player catches it and starts running the opposite side of the field towards also going towards the goal. Running faster I get ready as he goes to throw it to me. In the corner of my eye see somebody run up behind my back and go to trip. I miss him, but I almost lost my footing. Quickly catching the ball and keep running towards the goal.

He did that on purpose.

"Nice job boys!" The coach yelled enthusiastically. " let's do number 10 now!"

Walking to my new position, I watch as Luke fist bumps the boy who tried to fall on me. Of course they planned it. What else could they do with their life?

Mumbling to myself, I get into position and done again.

"Ready!!!!... Hike!!!" The football player with the ball says and throws it backwards this time. Everybody scatter to their positions and I run towards the guy who holds the ball.

Just the other half of the team who is playing against us goes to grab the ball swap with the player running towards the goal again. I supposed to swap with me again. It comes to the physician and I quickly run up to him. He runs away from the goal and swaps with another player.

I see somebody go to grab the ball and tackle the player so I can run up and tackle him instead. And the player at the ball finally makes it to the goal for a touchdown in a game.

"Great job boys!!!!" The coach happily. "Practice is over. Have a nice day!"

With a bag of thrown over my shoulder, I start walking out of the locker room and towards the bus stop where I get on and meet Lauren at a cafe with our friends.

Grabbing my phone I double check my texts and see her.

- Lauren -

Just finished  practice, be there in 15 minutes.

See you there! 😄

"Who you texting? Your girlfriend?" Luke walks out of the locker rooms followed by some of the other players who were his friends.

"Lauren actually." I answer putting my phone in my pocket as I just kept walking.

"Sounds like you both have grown quite close. Dating now?" Luke asks as he started walking towards me.

"Even if we were it would be none of your business. You broke up with her, remember?" I say not looking at him.

"Good thing I did. She was a terrible kisser, I have no idea why I'd ever think to date her." Luke says.

It all happened so fast. One moment I'm walking. The next I'm punching Luke square in the face.
