Going Away

Finally after months of waiting from buying my ticket, the day is here. Departure day ready to see one of my favourite group's world tour. Buying the ticket back in November with my flights and accommodation feels so long ago, I don't think even after seeing them that I'll believe that I have seen them.

I finally get to the airport around 3 hours before my flight purely due to the fact Birmingham Airport is a mess. No one knows what they are doing, some of the queues for security can be hours long and in no circumstances was I going to miss my flight.

I head straight to the security line and begin the long annoying wait to get to airside, well after about an hour I've cleared everything and now just waiting in the departure hall. I grab a quick pint because I can and no one is going to stop me before walking round and checking out the shops.

About an hour before departure, our gate is called and I head towards it. Every minute gone is a minute closer to seeing them and I CAN'T WAIT. We begin boarding and I get onboard with my window seat, looking at the view and hoping it is clear for the flight.

One more show before we see him, Paris tonight then our baby is in the front row. Oh Y/N, I can't wait to hug you.

?? : Unnie you're zoned out yet again.

??? : It's nothing maknae, just focusing for tonight.

She nods, I'm so glad she believed me. I know she wants Y/N too but only I know we are seeing him. I can't wait for my girls to realise.

Y/N POV

I sit back and relax ready for the 2 hour flight down to Spain and to meet my friend there. Honestly, no words describe how down bad he is for Yuqi and Jisoo. I know he won't stop mentioning them.

The plane finally gets pushed from stand, the engines roar into life and we head to the runway to begin the flight. Most the flight went by in a blur up until the arrival, seeing the Barcelona skyline appear in view and knowing I'll be here for a few days before returning back to my boring life in the UK but who cares, I want to live my life how I want to.

We land and I do all the boring stuff of carrying my bag and going through passport control before I can say I'm officially here. I message my friend to see where they are and what a surprise they are at the wrong part of the terminal. Can never trust them to do anything right well except for directions around.

After the trouble of finally finding somewhere to meet up, we head towards the metro so we can get into the centre and finally find the AirBnB we are staying at. We talk about random stuff while onboard and walking to the place we are staying. We stay in for a bit so I can sort my stuff out before heading to a nearby shopping centre for some food.

It's still too early to fall asleep so we have the great idea of travelling along the metro and going to La Sagrada Familia and seeing it at night. When we walk out the metro station and see it, words can't describe how amazing it looks and too think it still isn't finished is crazy.

After standing and admiring it, we finally decide to head back to our accommodation ready for a full day of exploring parts of the city. We get back, have a drink, do what people do before bed and head towards our rooms for the night. Sleep was a struggle, the Spanish love partying till about 3am and been British, hot weather is not our fan.

Waking up the next morning, it still feels surreal that tomorrow I will finally see them. Six amazingly talented girls, I can't wait to sing to them all night. I am so excited to watch them to eleven.

After finally getting out of bed, I head to get a shower and brush my teeth before finally getting ready to spend the whole day out enjoying the Spanish sunshine. We decide, well they want to try the churro shop that in their words, 'Their mummy Jisoo made popular'. Obviously, I went along. I want to visit that place and try churros since there isn't any good places that make them in the UK.
