I sit in a very uncomfortable chair. The boat sways back and forth. I look at the white-haired woman in front of me.
"I don't know why you couldn't kill her yourself."
The captain of the wooden ship says while putting her cigarette out. "I don't want to get my hands dirty. Do You really think I wanted to kill my sister? She knew too much." my sister is dead, and now almost nothing is in my way.
"You're such a wimp for someone who wants to rule a kingdom." She is as cruel as she is pretty.
"Satori, you don't get to call me a wimp after you bolted and vanished from everything."
The one I loved looked at me with such contempt.
Her scowl pierced my heart.
"I did what I had to do to feel free for once." I frowned
"So the lady of steel couldn't take a few orders from her mother?" She stood up and slammed her hands on the desk. Her hair covered her face and The room was engulfed with cigarette smoke.
"You know it was much more than that. " her words a mere whisper. Did I cross the line? I know her situation isn't something to joke about but she looks like she will let one of her men throw me overboard next. I look away from her.
"What are you even running from?"
"It doesn't even matter. How the heck did you even find me?"
She pointed her blade at me. I smile at her. "Did you think you could hide from me forever?"
"No, but I certainly didn't expect you to show up
In a military boat with your family crest on the flag."
Her hand still gripped her blade. Her hand was shaking.
Then I hear the wooden door creep open, it's Felix.
"Did I walk in at the wrong time?"
He asked, then covered his mouth in a cough from the smoke. She stabs the table. The smell was acrid and it burned my nose.
"knock next time." He nodded, I brushed right past him And out the door.
Then it all came flooding, every memory that seemed almost locked in the deepest part of my brain seemed to life. The sweat on my hand seemed unimportant compared to the feeling I was having. What is this feeling? It feels like something is missing.
I grabbed my chest, and my whole world spun around me. Suddenly my head hurt, and then with a thug, I fell onto the floor. My eyes fluttered shut.

When I first met her I didn't see her just
A pile of books she was carrying. I didn't know who she was at the time. She bumped into me and all of her books fell over. I help her pick up the massive amount of books then I look into her eyes. Deathly similar to mine. Her eyes were electric while mine was all too similar to a raging sun.
"Thanks." She takes the book from my hand. Pride and Prejudice. We stood up, "do you need some help carrying it?" she looked behind her nervously.
"Um, sure." I took some of the books from her and I followed her. I had never been down this hall in the castle. I am only here because my father needed me to get him his sword. Old man. That liar will always be a liar.

The more I look at her the more she looks like mom.
It's too bad I look like my father. My eyebrows pushed together just thinking about that horrible excuse of a father. "My name is Xavier." she pays no mind to my comment and keeps walking. " I know."
I slightly ignore her comment. "So what's your name?"
"Eythora," she says not even looking at me. Her appearance was ethereal, almost ghostly. Clasping a necklace in her hands she avoids eye contact.
Then I noticed that the locket looked familiar.
"Where did you get that locket?"

She looks at me for the second time. "It was my mothers." I stop In place. She looks just like- "This is my stop." I put the books on her desk when I noticed that one of them was in a different language.
"Do you speak this language?"
She quickly grabs the book from my hand.
"Yes, and it's not just any language, it's the most spoken language in Zodel. It's important to learn."
I nodded, not understanding.

"Xavier." it felt like someone was shoving me.
My eyebrows knit together and my eyes flutter open.
I was lying on a bed with both Satori and Felix right in front of me. "We are almost there but you passed out of the floor. "
She looked almost concerned.
"I am fine." I sit up. "You have a fever and a heart rate of 100 beats per minute." Felix pointed out Then I noticed a look in his eyes. "Please tell me you didn't call a doctor," I asked. "We didn't but we were about to." Her eyes look almost desperate for an explanation.
"It's incurable." I looked away from them. "That's all I am telling you." I grabbed my bag from the nightstand and I walked out of the room. I get off the boat knowing I am going to be a better ruler than my father
