Nightmares & Curiousity

"Uzi..?" A gentle voice began as the girl's door slowly creaked open, it was unlike him to show up so late in the night like this but, he's decided a nightmare was a good enough reason to break into her home and make sure she was okay.

He sighed with relief upon seeing her resting face as she slept whistfully, he spun around immediately to leave, when something stopped him.

She groaned as she rolled in her bed, causing him to turn around to her with an amount of concern, "Uzi..?" His head cocked to the side in his question as his arm reached out slightly. But... Wait... Would she be freaked out if she found out I broke in..? With her dad not here..?

He paused, seemingly in deep thought as he held his own chin. "Nah!" He chirped, dismissing the thought completely, he walked closer to her bed before coming to a stop at the side of the bed.

He got onto his knees and just slightly peeked his head over the bed, and with one finger slowly reached out to poke the girl. And as he did, she responded with a soft groan, rolling over to face him now, still asleep.

His visor glowed lightly with a soft yellow blush. "...Cute..." He muttered. After she'd seemed to settle down again, he reached his hand out now to cup the side of her face. "Maybe I shouldn't leave her here all alone... Just in case..." He lied to himself, just wanting a reason to stay over at that point.

He let his thumb caress her cheek as he now rested his chin on her bed, he wanted to show her more affection. They've held hands, hugged, but he's never been in her presence with this kind of vulnerability between the two, he didn't often see her with her gaurd down. Of course, they were best friends, though the emotions he felt for her were more than that, and he knew.

He whined in defeat as he dropped his head, creating a 'pomf' sound against the bed, craving affection from her yet he thought impossible to achieve. Anytime he'd hug her for longer than three seconds she quickly would shove him and run off, never made much sense to him, but he didn't question her.

He looked up quickly as she groaned again, this time sounding more lively as her body shuffled against the bed, her eyes slowly blinked open, which quickly turned into wide ones, she jumped back very suddenly. "N!?" She smacked his hand away from her face. "What were you doing!?" She paused, raising an eyebrow. "...What are you doing..? Exactly..?"

He shot up from the ground and waved defensively as to defend himself frantically, "Sorry! Sorry!" He shook his head with an awkward smile, before sighing and looking away. "Just felt a bit lonely I guess..." He smiled softly at her.

"Bite me!" She scoffed, before looking at his shy figure, she sighed as she calmed down. "So you broke into my place while I was asleep because... You felt 'lonely?'" She pinched the bridge of her 'nose' as the boy nodded sheepishly.

"You couldn't bother someone else with your loneliness?" She spoke sarcastically, she didn't actually mind.

"I wanted you."

He suddenly spoke out in an innocent tone with a soft voice, not realizing the gravity his own words had on her, her eyes widened for a moment, before she smiled softly.

"Well i'm tired... You staying over?" She asked him quietly, to which he perked up, his tail began to sway slowly. "Can I?" He smiled, to which she nodded. "Yes!" He exclaimed, "Buddy sleepover!" His tail wagged.

Uzi rolled her eyes playfully at his excitement before going quiet. "...Thanks for breaking in..." She smiled with a soft blush clouding her visor.

"Anytime!" He responded genuinely, shooting a 'finger gun' at her, to which she giggled.
