It was a cold, rainy afternoon when Chiquita found a strange letter in her mailbox.
The envelope was black with shiny red writing that simply said, "To Chiquita." Inside was an invitation:
"You and your friends are invited to a special event at the Haunted Mansion. Solve the puzzles to escape. Fail, and you will be trapped forever. Midnight is coming."
"-Anonymous"
Chiquita's heart raced. It felt like a joke, but something about it seemed too real.
Later that day, her friends Ahyeon, Asa, Ruka, Pharita, Rami, and Rora texted her. They all got the same creepy invitation!
"Is this some kind of prank?" Ruka asked.
"I don't know, but I'm curious," said Asa. "Should we go?"
"Maybe, it's just some halloween prank, halloween is really near, right? asked Ahyeon "I think we can try."
"Yeah, maybe it's just some of our friends pulling a prank on us" replied Chiquita "Remember what happened last time?
"I think we should just go try? It may not be that hard you know?" said Pharita
"Yeah let's just go and see, maybe this halloween is going to be fun!!" said Ruka cheerfully
"Yay, I'm so excited! Bye everyone, see you all tomorrow evening!!" said Asa
Is it really going to be fun? Or is it going to end up, horrible and something they never expected it to be?

Hi everyone, I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to write stories, but I've changed my schedule and I'll be able to publish my stories and update them.
I won't be able to update my books frequently, because my exams are still going on, so I'll try my level best to update it at times.
