CHAPTER ONE :
"You're nothing but a piece of trash. You think you're pretty? HAH, dream on! Why would someone want you. You're just an ugly nobody.." These are the words that haunt me everyday. My name is Delilah. I'm probably the most hated girl in school. You'd think after 11 years you'd be used to it, but I'm not. I've always been sensitive. Ever since pre-school people have taunted me with cruel words. I can't remember a day where I haven't cried after school. I'm fifteen now, going on sixteen, and I feel as weak as glass. The slightest cruel comment can break me down, to where I'm nothing anymore. "Watch it, freak." scowled Josh. "I-I'm sorry.." Josh Blaus was always the best looking boy ever. Not to me though. The girls giggled and whispered about Josh constantly. I honestly don't see what they see in him, he's just a self centered jerk. He talks about how he's so cool and how he's so ripped. But who am I to be talking, being the ugli-- Oh no...The school bell. I'm late.. "Ms. Cretto, report to your first period class room, NOW." Ugh, Cretto. I've always hated my last name. I shuffled over to my class room and sat in the back row. I was the only one late in the entire school.... How does that make sense? It's probably just because I'm such a screw up.. "Ms.Cretto, could you please answer the equation on the board for us?" Easy. Find y. 3x+2y=5-y. "y=(5-3x)/3" I said with a grin. "Very good, Ms.Cretto." said Mr.Sleme. Everyone called him Mr.Slime, I personally found that disgusting. He glared at me. I smiled back with satisfaction. *Rrrrrrring!* Ahh, the bell. How I loved the school bell. I quickly ran through the hallways hoping nobody would notice me. As I reached the door, there stood the most popular clique of girls waiting for me.. "Oh no... What am I going to do?" I looked around for something to use to fight them off with, but as I reached for the broken old pole from the pile of trash.. "No please don--" My vision started to blur and all I remember is drifting off into a heavy sleep.
