Chapter One: The Move

Last month late my mom thought I was depressed, Like really depressed she found out that I was cutting myself because one night we were having dinner after I was done having my shower and when I went down stairs I forgot to but on my bracelet that would cover my right wrist, But when I sat down at my table my mom saw the wrist and asked me what it was and I said nothing so she got up and flipped my wrist around and saw all five of them and that's when it happened...We were packed up and we were halfway to California.

"Honey, I'm sorry but we need a change after your dad passed away you were depressed and what I saw an month ago is a sign of depression anyways when we get to the new house you'll love it, But just so you know it's the only one I could afford and I want you to make some friends I know what happened in your old school you got bullied because your dad died and you were a non-sociable person and the classified 'Nerd''

" But I need you to have a change heck even I need a change I quit being a grade 2 teacher at my old school just to do this i'm gonna be working at Steele Street Public School and you will go to East View Secondary School and for a bonus it should only be about a 15 minute walk and I know a few people here that have kids that go to your new school" My Mom Said Pulling into a McDonald's

"Hello, My Name is Aaliyah how may I help you?" The woman at the window asked my mother

"Hello, May I please have one strawberry milk shake one coke one Oreo blizzard one big mac and a large fry please?" My mother asked Aaliyah

"Yes you may i'll see you at the window oh and it will be $38" Aaliyah said before mom drove up to the window

"Hello here's your order " A girl with curly ginger hair turned around with a wide smile on her face, She had a very nice shape was not overweight but not to skinny either she looked about my age

"Thanks Hun Here's Your money oh and keep the change" My Mother Said With a smile as she started driving off and passing me the food. Opening the bad I found my oreo blizzard and my large fry, I handed the rest to mom.

"Mom.." I said looking at her

"Mmmmhmmm" My mom said swallowing a gulp of her milkshake

"Will things ever get better?"

"I don't know but we gotta have faith'' she said putting her hand on me " Hun, Were going off to a new start you can choose to love it or leave it"

I put my head against the cold window closing my eyes, "I don't know yet what i'll do..." I mumbled to myself.

"Wanda, Honey where here" My mom said looking at me and tapping my leg. My face felt greasy and my hair was a mess.I got up looking out the window the house was beautiful, It had a big flower bush the house was a pale color with a big window with a huge garage we had a basketball net with a huge tree in the middle of the lawn. Opening up the door of the car I grabbed my phone and headphones and walked inside, Inside there was a closet for shoes and jackets the a living room with a big flat screen and pale brown couch then a dining room with eight chairs with a china cabinet with wine glasses and other important stuff. It looked like the movers already had everything in all of our rooms and bathrooms because when i went up stairs my stuff was put away by the designer mom asked to help us.

"Did you let me sleep so you can organize this place with the designer and that friend you were talking about the other day?"

"Yes and no, My friends son came over and helped they live next door to us he picked your room and set it up I delt with your clothing and the movers and designer did the rest because we didn't have many people to help"

"Woah a boy touched my stuff!" I said running up stairs going to try to find my room, Looking down one side of the hallway I found a closet a bathroom and my moms room, Down the other side I found a laundry room two closets and then a guest room and then my room when I stepped inside I was surprised by how pretty it looked it had a blue and white bed with a pretty tree on the wall with candles it had a blue curtain on the window and a walk in closet the room had quotes on the wall and a night side table.

I walked over to my window opening the curtain then putting my charger in the wall then sat in the bean bag chair grabbed my phone that was charging in the wall and started reading "My Wattpad Love" On wattpad.

Knock Knock!

I woke up to something tapping something I got up to see a face in my window and a Little boys face to be exact. I opened up the window '' Hello, I'm Benjamin O'Shea you must be the new girl Wanda right?.?"
