Chapter One: The Journey Has Began

(Remus Lupins POV;)
The Hogwarts Express began its journey back to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry at exactly eleven °clock from Kings Cross Station, On the first of September as it always did on the first day back from the summer vacation.

The steaming red locomotive pulled the many carriages that were filed with buzzing chattering students, all of whom were excited to be returning for their fifth year in what they deemed the Best School In England which Probably was the only magical school anyways.

I sat in a compartment at the back with my irritating friends reading Hogwarts- A History. James and Sirius were constantly messing around (They were currently now seeing who could stuff as many chocolate frogs in their mouth before being sick and it seemed James was winning) Every once in a while I made sure to look up to make sure James wasn't sticking any sticky fingers in Sirius nose or Sirius wasn't flicking Peter with his wand again whilst Peter was sleeping which i saw him sneakily do every now and again and I would scold him whilst he would roll his eyes, making me chuckle slightly at my friend.

The journey to Kings Cross Station had been a long one but I could say it was amusing watching my friends being lunatics and Sirius nearly falling off a bridge. We had all met up at the Potter Manor and came here to begin our journey for fifth year together since my Parents had to go to the ministry, Peter just turned up after I sent my owl Brian to his home and Sirius? Well Sirius had been scolded once again for his sloppy manners and being rude compared to his Older Brother Regulus whom may I say hated him and he returned the favour gladly. The journey to the Platform 9 3/4 contained James telling Lame jokes about chickens, Sirius flirting with many girls, muggle or witch and Peter watching amusedly as I chased after them to try and settle them and not bring attention to ourselves which backfired.

As soon as we got on the train Peter fell asleep, the most entertaining thing that happened before arriving was his loud obnoxious snores filling the small room before the two began messing around with paper swords goodness where they came from.

As I glanced out of the window, I smiled as I saw the train slowing down slightly. We had already changed about half an hour ago where Peter had grudgely woken up after many complaints and grunts. I was just excited to be home again.

As I sighed James and Sirius looked at me anxiously.

"Okay there Moony?"

"You look kind off pale"

"I'm fine Padfoot, Prongs. I'm just happy I'm finally home you know?"

At this they both looked out of the window and smiled as if like a children on Christmas and ran streaming out of the compartment.

I ran after them, knowing that our trunks will be in our room when we get there, and knowing these lot will get into mischief and trouble.

I slowed as I saw their backs, panting slightly, but stood up when I saw Lily Evans standing in front of James. Oh goodness- he's like a love sick fool near Lily Evans.

"Hey Evans" Oh no not again James.

"Go away Potter and take the hair bag mutt with you" She sighed and I grinned as I saw Sirius' arm which had been around her shoulders move quickly.

"Hey Lily" I say to her smiling apologetically knowing she's more likely to be nicer to me then those guys- Where did they go? They were right there..

"Hey Rem- Where are you going!" she yells as I madly sprint off, trying to find the source of many mischiefs.

"Sorry Lily!" I yell over my shoulder at her as I turn a corner crashing into someone.

"Hey I'm really sorry- Oh Sorry Snape" I had knocked over Severus Snape- A Slytherin in my year who was friends with Lily Evans, James and Sirius Hated him-Snivellus.

"Watch where you are going Lupin" He smirked at me before pushing past me knocking me back onto the floor. Ow that will hurt in the morning.

I carried on my search until I found them in a empty compartment having a mini duel. I take a minute to watch them. I see their skill in duelling, of how they defend and attack and how they dodge and Fire. I knew they would grow up to become something awesome.

I rush into the compartment and glare at them. They immediately stop and look at me grinning creepily at me. They look at me again before lifting their wands and using word less magic to curse me.

"Padfoot! Prongs!" I yell at them annoyed as they shoot water at me from their wands chuckling at my shocked and non amused face.

"What Moony?"

"You looked a little hot so we took a minute to cool you down"

They chuckle at me and sprint off as I chase them, most of the school is of the train now only a couple of stragglers left. I smile and let them run ahead to grab a carriage. However that may not seem complicated but it was. Before I looked up to see them I tripped over and I nearly fell flat on my face if I hadn't gained my balance. When I looked up I was annoyed they were playing some sort of running game whilst using their wands to make magic even though I believed they knew they are not allowed to do magic.

I ran to catch them up and listened to them bicker. They were sometime just like teenage girls. Teenage girls who were on their period, had been burnt in lava and died.

"Can't Catch Me Padfoot! Nah nah nah nah Batman!" James yelled, making me roll my eyes at him being so child like.

"Who is Batman?" Yelled back Sirius chasing madly after James. What am I going to do with these lot? Someone give me strength I think to myself as Sirius falls flat on his face making James laugh before also falling. Typical.
