Pregnant

Aurora's pov

This is the third time I puked my guts out. I don't know what is wrong with me but I feel really miserable and sick. I think I must be coming up with a bug.

"Luna?" Hailey calls from the room.
I'll be out in a second. I yelled as I began to splash some water on my face.

"Luna, you look rather pale. Is everything okay?" she asked concern etching her voice.

No, I don't feel too good. I feel sick. I groaned.

Hailey folded her arms and studied me for a moment.
"What are your symptoms?" She questioned.

Puking, headaches and I feel nauseous. Why do you ask?
I think I might know the diagnosis of your sickness.

I see you're a doctor now. I mused.
She frowned. I'm being serious.
Okay then tell me what is wrong with me?
"You're pregnant" she shrugged with a smile tugging at her lips.

My eyes popped out as I stare at her with my mouth slightly agape.
That's absurd.

I know you're finding it hard to believe but you are and I'm one hundred percent certain of it.
One of the Omega's had the similar symptoms as you did and a few days later she found out she was pregnant she explained.

Me pregnant? I never thought this day would come, I never expected nor did I dream of becoming a mother. How do I do this? I mumbled.

Hailey kneels infront of me and takes my trembling hands in hers.
Everything's going to be alright. Think of this baby as a gift from the moon goddess, this child is going to bring you and alpha Roman so much joy and happiness. Instead of worrying unnecessary you should be excited.

But I'm scared. I'm not sure whether I'll be a good mother to this child.

"Of course you will. You will be the best mom in the whole entire world and this baby. She said as she placed her palm gently on my stomach.
Is going to be just like you, kindhearted, selfless and beautiful"

I smiled. Thank you for those kind words Hailey but still I'm scared.

Do you want me to call the doctor? She asked springing up to her feet.

No, I don't want anyone to know atleast not now. Let's keep this between us for now I want this to be a surprise for Roman. I smiled thinking of how excited he would be once I tell him.

I promise I won't. If you don't want to see the pack doctor I could fetch you some tests from the pharmacy, if you'd like? She offered.

I think that's a great idea. I don't want to jump to conclusions before I know for certain that I am pregnant.

I've been staring at the two lines on the pregnancy test for over an hour. I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm happy but also a little scared.
I can't wait to see the look on Roman's face when I tell him this.

The knock on the bathroom door startles me. I quickly get up from the seat and throw the test into the hamper. I need to get it out of there before anyone finds it especially Roman.

I unlock the door and open it. Damien, what are you doing here? I asked glaring at him.

You don't look too happy to see me. Why's that? He frowned.
I raised a brow folding my arms. And why exactly should I be happy to see you Damien? I scowled.

Let me guess Roman told you something and you're mad at me now? What did my brother tell you Aurora? He demanded.

And tell me Damien why should I tell you?
Because I care about you Aurora and whatever lies my brother has fed you isn't true.

I scoffed. You care about me? Is that what you told his first mate?

You heard his part of the story, let me tell you mine.
Aurora please don't believe him whatever he said to you is all lies. He's lying to you. He stated as he grabbed my arm.

I yanked my arm away from his grip.
Do not touch me! I growled.
I'm sorry but all I want is for you to know the entire truth and not lies.

Has he told you the complete truth?  Did he tell you the reason why his mate wanted me and not him?

She cheated on him with you that's why he killed her!

That's a lie, Jessica didn't cheat on him instead he cheated on her. He snickers. He hasn't told you has he?

I cocked my head and narrowed my eyes at him. Hasn't told me what?

Him and Mia? He questioned with a raised brow.  How he was madly inlove with her and thought she'd be his mate.

You're lying! I hissed.

If you think I am why don't you ask him or ask anyone around here? They will tell you how head over heels Roman was for her that he even promised her if he finds his mate, he'd reject her and take her as a chosen mate.

Why do I get the feeling he might be telling the truth. It does make sense though I notice Mia's frequent meetings with Roman and she's always here everyday and also I payed heed to the way she looks at me with so much of hatred.

The day he met his mate Roman ignored her, he wanted nothing to do with her because she was an omega. Roman wanted a strong luna by his side and that was Mia. Damien began.

So I'm guessing his mate came to you?

He shook his head. No, she didn't. I went to her because I felt pity for the way she was treated. Eventually the pity turned into love although I knew she still wanted to be with Roman.

But then everything was ruined when Mia left for training. Roman could no longer resist the bond so he gave in but Jessica didn't want to leave me.

She wanted both of you? I queried.

Yes she wanted us both but she was afraid to tell Roman. He'd never allow it.

And you? Were you okay with it? I asked disgust evident in my tone.

I had no choice. I loved her and would have done anything to be with her.
I just hope you don't end up dead like she did Aurora. Roman can never be trusted, his unpredictable. If I were you I'd run and never return.

What's going on here? Roman's husky voice rang in the air. He glanced  between Damien and I.

Aurora and I were just talking. Weren't we Aurora? Damien smiled widely.

Yes we were. I answered shooting Roman an icy stare.

I'll take my leave. Damien said as he started walking but then stopped and turned around facing me.
Keep in mind what I said Aurora. He said and scurried off.

Do you mind telling me what's going on? Roman demanded crossing his arms.

"What do you want me to tell you Roman that your brother and I have something going on?
Or do you want to hear the part we're you left Mia out?"
