Bella awaits quietly in her room, waiting for anything to happen that can be the signal that Raul's note said. Her palms become clammy, her skin goosebumps from the shiver of anticipation. Bella checks her phone for the time, almost 5 a.m she says in her mind while seeing the time. All of a sudden a noticeable red orangish glare can be seen through her balcony window. Wonder what that is her mind says while racing to conclusions.
Bella peers out her balcony window when she hears footsteps romping around the manor outside her bedroom and men walking loud and talking abruptly. Her bedroom door locks become unlatched as men burst into the room.
"FIRE" says the guard that just bursted into Bella's room.
The guard from the balcony comes from inside the balcony where he was posted.
"THERE'S A FIRE!" shouted the guard from the balcony.
"Yeah not shit, we need all hands, one of the entire vineyard orchards is ablaze." instructs one of the guards.
Both guards run from Bella's room with rapid responsive movement. The last guard to leave tries to close the door while running out but doesn't get a lot behind it. As the door is about to close a foot becomes wedged in between the door and frame. It is Raul who opens the door and is now standing in the doorway looking at Bella, who appears confused about the nature of what's happening.
"It's time Bella." says Raul motioning to Bella to come with him. Bella grabs her bag quickly and makes her exit with Raul. They reach the staircase when Raul stops and waits for the last of the guards to exit the home.
"What's happening?" Bella asks
"No time for questions, just do as I ask." orders Raul.
Bella is taken back by this new side of Raul she has never seen before. In the past Bella would scold anyone for talking to her like that, especially paid hired help. Raul grabs Bella's free hand as they make their way down the stairs and towards the front door. Raul see's that the coast is clear as they make their exit from the home and into a car parked near the house.
"Get in." Raul orders as he opens the door and closes it quickly as Bella enters.
Raul runs around to the driver side door and enters. He quickly turns on the car and begins speeding off down the driveway. Bella looks back towards her home, gazing upon it knowing this could be the last time she ever sees it. She sees the house disappear as the car creates distance from the home with a large orange reddish glare becoming brighter and bigger then she originally first saw it.
"What did you do Raul.?" Bella asks
Raul continues to focus on the road driving at a rather fast pace. He takes a deep breath and sighs before answering.
"We needed a distraction, so that what I did I created a distraction." Raul explained
Bella sits back in her seat looking out her side window, as the rolling hills pass by in rapid seconds. She opens her passport, to make sure everything was good before her train of thought gets interrupted by Raul.
"Bella, give me your phone please?" Raul asked, placing his hand back towards Bella.
"My phone but why?" Bella asks hesitantly
"Bella there is no time for explanations, just give me your damn phone." Raul says annoyed.
Bella reluctantly gives Raul her phone. Raul rolls down his window and tosses Bella's phone out of the window of the moving car.
"RAUL WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING." Bella shouts
"They can track you by phone Bella, we had no other choice." Raul explained while grabbing an airline ticket from his bag. He reaches back towards Bella to hand it to her. Bella grabs it and inspects the ticket.
