"It took us a while to work up the courage to even come here, now we're next." My best friend Nicole said, standing right besides me as we waited for Leigh-Ann Marie to finish her song.
"I know." I said shaking uncontrollably.
"Steph, it's gonna be fine. At least we're in this together!" She said shaking me, trying to calm me down.
"You're right, we've done this song a lot and we've added more choreography to make it better." I had just finished saying before Leigh-Ann had finished her song.
The producers were helping her down the stairs and giving us mics. We both lost it as we walked up the stairs as soon as Leigh got down.
"Good luck," she said as she passed us "crazy crowd."
Our music started playing and I turned my back to everybody.
Nicole had started "I must confess, you're looking fresh. Yeah I'm impressed go head and flex. Everybody be hating the way that you're stealing the show but oh you be killing it just like Little Terio."
That was my cue to turn around and start, "Oh you can get it, anything you want. And can't nobody ever tell you no. Don't need no filters on pictures before you post em on the gram, shut down the internet they don't even understand."
"Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh," We both sang, "They don't make em quite like you. No no oh, oh, oh, it ain't bragging if you know it's true."

We had finished the song with a mass amount of cheering. We had came together to hear what the judges had to say. Nicole was shaking much worse then she was before as she grabbed my wrist.
"You girls were very good. I'm impressed, I was not expecting to hear that from two 17 year olds." LA Reid had said.
"You girls had a little bit too much shakiness in your voices. I liked the dancing and how much you guys worked the stage." Demi had told us, sounding a little rude.
"I am going to agree with Demi, but I loved you girls. For being 17 and having the voices you do is rare. You can go high low and in the middle. It's great" Britney added.
Simon had given them a look before he spoke, "I'm sure you guys have seen this before and noticed Demi is always a buzzkill. I don't agree at all with her. Yes, everybody is nervous at first but it did go away and it sounded great girls. LA, yes or no." He had finished.
"Yes, I see a lot of potential for you girls. Demi?"
"Thank you," we had both said into the mics.
"I loved seeing you girls and hearing your voices but I'm gonna have to say no. I'm sorry."
We put our heads down for a second just to hear Britney.
"I'm gonna say yes. You girls are so energetic and I love you!"
Simon had the last say in this....
"Girls, you have 3 yeses. Don't listen to Miss Buzzkill."
And with that we thanked the judges and waved bye to everybody that was there. We ran off stage and almost fell down the stairs. We had a huge group hug with both of our families there and a few friends. Nicole and I had hugged each other after the group hug and started to cry a little. This was just a dream come true moving on.
