"[NAME] IT'S TIME we talk" Aizawa said, crossing his arms and standing directly in front of the TV, effectively blocking the newest episode of Peppa Pig. You narrowed your eyes, trying to crane your head to the side for a better view, but he shifted, blocking your angle again.

"Uh oh, am I in trouble?" you asked cautiously, pulling a cushion closer to your chest for protection. Your mind raced with all the possible things you might've done wrong.

"It wasn't me who ate all the chocolate in the fridge, I swear! It was the dog!" you yelped, diving behind the cushion, bracing for his reaction.

Aizawa blinked, raising an eyebrow. "We don't have a dog... and that explains why we ran out of candy," he muttered, rubbing his forehead like he was used to your antics. But he quickly dismissed the chocolate incident.

"Leave that. It's time we talk about your quirk," he said, his voice more serious this time.

You froze for a second, lowering the cushion slightly to peek at him. "My quirk?"

He sighed, sitting down next to you, his expression softening a little. "Yes, your quirk. I think it's time we start figuring out how to control it. You're getting older now, and it's going to get stronger."

"I don't think I've used it in so long, maybe it's gone?" you suggested, tilting your head, trying to sound hopeful.

Aizawa gave a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "Don't be silly. Quirks don't just disappear. I know it might be scary, but I'm here for you," he said, standing up and reaching out a hand to help you off the couch.

You hesitated but eventually took his hand, letting him lead you out to the backyard. The open air felt different, like it was waiting for something to happen. Your heart began to race, the weight of what you were about to do starting to sink in.

"Take a deep breath," Aizawa instructed gently, his tone steady. "And carefully try to activate it."

You stood there for a moment, staring at the ground, nervousness creeping up your spine. What if it went wrong? What if the water came too fast, too strong? The fear of death clawed your chest. You did not want to die a second time.
