I was stressed.

After getting an iris-message from a pale, swaying Percy, I shadow travelled back to camp (screw your doctors orders, Will), grabbed by boyfriend and dragged him to Cabin 3 with no explanation.

I'm sure he was confused.

Now Percy was in an infirmary bed, squirming in his sleep with an expression of pain.

I despised it.

At first I'd thought the burns on his wrists were self inflicted, but after scouring his cabin for any trace of something flammable I ruled that out.

There was a bleeding "M" on his back, too.

Which I found weird.

I'd seen him shirtless barely a few days ago - shut up, Will is hotter - and that M hadn't been there.

I was jolted out of my train of thoughts when the son of Apollo beside me let out a strangled gasp and rushed to Percy's side, staring in horror at the bleeding marks appearing all over his torso.

They were deep.

And swelling.

Will knelt down and prayed.

"The fuck, Will? God isn't gonna save him."

"Neeks, I'm praying to my dad."

"Ah. Right."

"Okay. Apollo, we could really use your help right now. Number 1, because your crush is gaining whip marks from lying in bed, and 2, because his previous wounds aren't healing. So-"

A bright flash filled the room and the sun God appeared, looking flushed.

"Will!" He hissed. "Shush! My dad or- I dunno, Percy's dad might overhear you and then I'd be dead meat!"

"You're a god. You can't die," I deadpanned.

"Neeks, respectfully, shut up."

"Don't call me that, you flashy excuse of a-"

"Alright, that's enough!" Will interrupted. "As I said, we could really use your help, Apollo. He's losing a lot of blood."

"Okay... Ambrosia?"

"Tried it. Not working."

"Nectar?"

"Same thing."

"How are the wounds appearing?"

"I don't know, they just are!" As the blonde-haired boy spoke, a fresh wound opened on Percy's face, from the side of his jaw to the corner of his lip.

"I'll do my best," Apollo said grimly.
