Rubys pov 

I woke up feeling horrible my throat was hurting, my stomach was hurting and I felt nauseous and to make things worse I had a interview for Descendants rise of red, i really didn't want to go but I had to. I slowly get out of bed to do my makeup and hair and got dressed. I had to be out the house by 10 and it was just on time that my best friend Kylie pulled up so we could ride to the interview together. The first thing she said to me was " are you okay you look pale" I guess I look that bad.

Kylies pov 

I was sitting in my car waiting for ruby , I was on my phone when i heard the car door open, it was ruby but she looked really pale. "Are you okay rubes you look pale" i ask concerned for my friend. "I'm not feeling good at all" Ruby says kinda sad. "aw whats wrong" i asked reaching my hand out to comfort her. " I don't know I just woke up feeling horrible" she says leaning into my touch. "Aw Ruby you should've told them you were sick and not coming in today" I say rubbing her shoulder, shes my best friend and I hate to see her so miserable." I couldn't miss it I wanted to be there with you guys" she said looking kinda sad. " aw Ruby I understand that you want to be there but if you don't feel good then i don't want you feeling bad during the interview" I say still rubbing her shoulder. "I'll be okay Kylie I promise" Ruby says looking at me as if she was begging to go. I sigh starting the car and driving to the con, on the way there I look at Ruby who seemed to be okay for now.

Rubys pov

On the way to the con I was feeling a bit better but still felt bad. I didn't say anything though  because i didn't want to worry Kylie, it took about 50 minutes to get to the con so me and Kylie  listened to music while on the way but I would catch her glancing over to me every once and a while I guess to check on me. Once we arrived we saw all our castmates like, Malia, Dara, Morgan and Joshua and Pedar, we all gave each other hugs and stood around to talk for a bit until it was time to go in. While we were talking someone walked up to us and told us that it was time to start the meet and greets and interviews, so we all followed them inside and while we were walking in I felt a sudden wave of sickness and it all came back, I felt horrible again. First was the interviews and then we had a lunch break. 

Kylies pov

We were all on a lunch break after our interviews which I think all of us were glad because we were all so hungry, I sat down next to Malia and Ruby sat down next to me, usually Ruby sits next to Joshua but I didn't pay much mind to it, maybe she just wanted to sit next to me after all I have been her friend since we were 9. We were all eating and talking and everything seemed okay with Ruby, at least that's what I thought.

Rubys pov

I sat next to Kylie watching everyone eat but since I didn't feel good I didn't eat at all and I guess everyone noticed cause when I looked up from my food everyone was staring at me. "are you feeling okay Ruby you haven't touched your food" Morgan says looking at me with concern. " oh uh yeah I'm okay" I say with a fake smile hoping she would believe me, I noticed Kylie looked at me with a glare that told me she knew I was lying. 10 minutes later I started feeling tired and sick so I put my head on Kylies lap, Kylie looked down at me with confusion and a concerned look on her face. "are you okay" she asked stopping what she was doing and placed her hand on my arm. " I'm tired and I feel like I'm gonna throw up" I say in a sad tired voice, "do you want to go to the bathroom?" Kylie asked, I nod my head and we get up to go to the bathroom. When we get to the bathroom I hurry to a stall to throw up, Kylie follows me into the stall and kneels beside me and rubs my back. 

Kylies pov 

I knelt down by Ruby rubbing her back attempting comfort her, being sick sucks enough but to be at an interview and then having to do a meet and greet must be horrible. After Ruby was done throwing up I put her hair in a pony tail just incase she had to throw up some more and I was right cause after I finished her hair she started throwing up again. Once she finished getting sick I pulled her in and let her rest in my arms. "Are you feeling better" I ask looking at her genuinely worried, shes my best friend and I hate to see her so miserable, she doesn't say anything and leans into my touch, I hold her tight and we sit there for a bit until we had to go back.

Morgans pov 

I was sitting at the table with the rest of the cast worried waiting for Ruby and Kylie to come back, everyone was talking when we saw Ruby and Kylie walking towards us. "Omg Ruby are you okay" I ask getting up to hug her, "I feel a little better now" Ruby says hugging me back . " I'm glad, why didn't you say anything" I say letting her go so she can sit down. ' I didn't want to ruin the day" she says in a sad tone, " you wouldn't ruin the day Ruby we care about you and we don't want to see you so miserable" I say looking at her kinda surprised that she would think that she would ruin  the day, the rest of the cast agrees. " Thank you guys" Ruby says then she turns to Kylie and gives her a hug, " thank you Kylie" she says muffled from her face being in Kylies shoulder. "For what?" Kylie asks returning the hug, "for being there with me when I was throwing up" Ruby says pulling back from the hug to look at Kylie. " I'll always be there for you don't worry" Kylie says smiling.
