"Your highness?" a nurse beckoned, opening up the double doors.
"Is she alright?" I questioned, peeking my way though the opening.
The nurse frowned and solemnly said,"I am so sorry your highness, she was sickly to begin with and the birth took her life. But on the lighter side of the realm your daughter's fine."
I nodded uneasily, my love was had died, my Sigyn. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around.
"Loki." Thor mumbled, he had a slight smile on his face and continued,"Let us see your daughter."
His voice was sympathetic. I pushed open the doors and went to the center of the nursery where a glided crib floated peacefully above the marble floor.
I unmatched the little hood above the bed and quietly pulled it back revealing my daughter. She had thick hair already that was just like my own. She had a small pointed jawline and her lips formed a rosebud. She had thick long eyelashes, but with her sleeping I was yet to see her eyes.
"Her name is Hela, Sigyn was very fond of the name-"I started being cut off by Thor stating,"I will honor that brother."
I put my hands underneath Hela and picked her up. She was taken away form me, i knew that although I resented the hour it came upon me.
Tears streamed down my cheek as I heard the doors burst open already knowing it was Odin and soem gaurds awaiting to take me back to my prison.
I handed Hela off to Thor, I turned around and put my hands out in front of me. The gaurds rushed forward, handcuffing me instantly. The Allfather looked into my eyes with pain but also with responsibility. I absolutely hated him for this for all of it. He'd taken away so much from me already, I wand taupe used he took my daughter away as well.
THOR'S POV:
My dear brother left the room he had a smirk on his face but his aura told other wise, he was grief stricken. I felt pity but my knew my duty. I couldn't let my feelings get the best of me.
The bundle I held in my arms squirmed as Hela woke up, he Reyes were green, but my brother would never know. For in less then an hour she'd be taken to Midgaurd.
In the thirty minutes I had with Hela on Midgaurd I did nothing but pace and look at her as she would coo and sleep.
I took her across the bifrost she took her watchful eyes to the bridge, they scanned the colors and the abyss underneath it.
For being only an hour old Hela was already so mature and smart. She reminded me so much of her father that it was in a way scary.
As we came to the end of the bifrost I ordered to be sent to Midgaurd. With a simp kid I was taken there immediately. I was in New York City where I planned to be.
I quickly flew to Stark Tower, carefully holding the babe. I landed on the balcony and saw the rest of the avengers through the great window that looked over all of New York.
"Thor's here." I heard Natasha state as she stood up at attentive, for once seeming somewhat interested in something I was doing.
The rest of the Avengers stood up, all except Tony who really didn't care at all about the situation.
Steve walked in front o me and said,"So she's Loki's daughter?"
"She is and I already know that we all know that Loki can't raise her." I said, my words hurt myself just saying them.
I guess the truth really is painful.
"What's her name?" Bruce asked with a sincere amount of curiosity in his voice.
"Her name is Hela." I stated as Cap held out his arms to hold Hela. I reluctantly agreed and let him hold the baby.
"Powers?" Clint asked, he kept a weary eye on the captain and Hela.
Steve's eyes were locked onto Hela's eyes.
"She definitely has them, but what they are i don't know, must I remind you that she was only born about two hours ago?" I grumbled, I hated being asked questions.
Tony groaned and asked,"Now what exactly do you want us to do?"
Cap looked up form Hela's eyes and looked at me awaiting an answer.
The room silenced making it seem earie as tony swirled his cup around, the clicking ice cubes echoed throughout the room as I responded,"Give her a home where she can lead a normal life, let her grow up to be the wonderful person, keep her safe."
"Well I can have full custody of her I'd you like."Steve said
I breathed heavily and asked,"Are you sure this is a big responsibility, and we know that I can't for Loki will find her."
Steve nodded and handed me Hela.
I walked away, not adding to look back, my eyes were already ready and that would break the dam. I stepped off the tower and made my way back to Asgaurd.
