Fae was walking to her job, enjoying the quiet walk as she made her way to the shop Moonlight Valley is all that Fae knows. It's usually a peaceful place where everyone has no care in the world. The only time things get hectic and people hide in fear, is during the one night a month, when all the unmated young females are gathered and are marched to the middle of the town, where they are forced to stand as the dark ministry comes down from their castle like home, and inspect the young women who are being sacrificed to them. If the ministry like all of the women, then all are taken. If only select ones who are favored those girls are taken away from their families. But there was one man who was feared more than the rest of the ministry members. And that was the leader of the Ministry. The Lord of Darkness is what many refer him to.

Fae shook her head getting rid of the thoughts of the Lord of Darkness as she made her way to the shop that she worked at, only to be stopped by her friend, Stephanie McMahon.

"Fae! Wait," Stephanie called.

Fae turned to face Stephanie with a smile on her face. "Stephanie, what a pleasant surprise. What brings you all the way to the shop?"

"I'm bored like usual. And I was wondering if you wanted to skip working and come out with me and go on a shopping spree. We barely spend any time together anymore, and I thought today would be a perfect day for us to spend time together," Stephanie explained.

"As much as I would love to do that with you Stephanie, I'm afraid I can't," Fae said.

Stephanie gave Fae a confused look. "Why not? I can come up with a good reason for you to get out of work."

"Not all of our families have money like yours does. And I don't even want to know how in the world your family came into possession of so much money is such a short period of time, when your family was much like the rest of us here in Moonlight Valley, when we all moved here and started this town," Fae said.

"I told you my father keeps saying that it was an inheritance left by our family before us. We come from old money as most people would say," Stephanie said before she went back to the original topic that she and Fae were talking about. "So, are you going to come shopping with me or not?"

"I already told you that I can't. I'm sorry Stephanie, but I should be heading to work now before I lose this job," Fae said before walking away.

What am I going to do now? I have never been told no by Fae before. But ever since she had to take on more responsibilities, she hasn't had any time for me. There has to be a way that I can free up her time, so that way she doesn't have to worry about working so much, Stephanie thought to herself as she wandered away from the shop.

Stephanie was so wrapped up in her own thoughts, that she didn't notice someone standing in the shadows that she was now walking in, and accidentally bumped into the person, causing them to grunt a bit from the impact, while Stephanie was sent backwards. Before Stephanie had a chance to fall to the ground, a hand gripped her arm, keeping her from falling and hurting herself.

Stephanie looked up to see who she bumped into, only to have the look of fear creep onto her face when she caught the sight of green eyes staring back into her blue ones, causing shivers to run up and down her spine. "Lord of Darkness...what are you doing down from your castle? I thought you usually wait until the dead of night to come out, so you can blend in with the darkness of night. To what do I owe the pleasure of running into you like this?"

"I felt the urge to take a walk among the shadows. I'm glad I gave into the urge. If I had ignored it, I wouldn't have witnessed you speaking to that young woman, who was making her way to the shop. What is her name," Undertaker asked.
