The bell rang meaning that the day at high-school ended . All students were so happy because it was finally the holidays so they can do everything that they want and have fun at summer .
" Hey !! Y/n are you going to your grandparents house also this summer ? " Hajun AKA Y/n's bestfriend asked her knowing the answer already . " Dude , you know the answer . Plus my parents are working abroad and they told me that I was going to get bored alone so yeah ... Besides you know how much I love it there . Nature my love .."
" yeah yeah ofc by the way don't forget to send me good pictures ." He added . " sure thing ! let's go now !" Y/n said cheerfully .

" Grandpa ! Grandma I missed you sooo much !" Y/n yelled while hugging her grandparents .
At dinner that night , everything was going normally . The grandmother served Y/n's favourite dish and her grandfather sat at the head of the table eating quietly . They made a small talk but soon enough the conversation turned to the forest like it always did when Y/n came to visit .
" you came kind of late to the dinner . You haven't been going to the woods , right ?"

Y/gf asked , looking up from his plate .
The girl shrugged , trying to play it off . " Just walking around a little . You know , to get some air ."
Her grandmother frowned . " we've told you to stay away from there, dear . The forest isn't safe ."
" it's just trees grandma plus , I've never seen anything weird out there ." Deep inside y/n would be glad if she saw something unusual , just being her curious self .
Y/gf's voice grew serious ." You might not see anything yet , but that doesn't mean it's safe . People around here know better than to wander too far ."
Y/gm leaned forward , her expression soft but worried . " promise us you'll be careful . There are things in that forest ... things we can't explain ."
Y/n hesitated , not wanting to upset them . " okay , I promise ..." The girl said though she wasn't sure if she meant it . The forest didn't scare her . It fascinated her ...
Later that night , as y/n was laying in bed , she could hear the wind rustling through the trees outside her window . Her grandparents' words echoed in her mind , but her curiosity was stronger than their warnings .
As she was thinking about it she drifted to deep sleep ...

It was morning and y/n was at home having breakfast with her grandparents.
" So , dear , what are going to do today ? Well, me and your grandpa are going to visit some friends we're going to be back late like at night . Don't worry I prepared lunch and dinner in case we didn't arrive soon ."
" that's good . Thanks grandma ! Well I'm going to walk a little bit nearby ofc not far away. " y/n answered casually .
" y/n be careful, sweetie it's not safe and if something happened go back right away home and call us OK?"
Her grandmother warned her with a worried expression . " Yes grandma don't worry ."
And with that , they went out leaving y/n alone .
Soon , she decided to go to the forest because she got bored .
She was walking as always enjoying nature not forgetting to send pictures to Hajun . The birds were whistling beautifully. Y/n was literally in heaven .
After hours of walking the girl got tired so decided to take a break under the shadow of a big tree . She didn't even realize that she somehow slept .
After a while she woke up from her nap . Suddenly she saw a guy looking at ther making her jump in her place .
" OMG DUDE YOU SCARED THE CRAP OUT ME !"
The boy was so handsome to y/n's point of view . He was around her age . But she felt something strange about him .
The boy didn't say anything just bowed and went away .
" WAIT !" The girl yelled making him stop and turn around .
" I'm sorry . I was rude to you . I'm y/n by the way it's nice to meet you . Do you live here ? Or nearby ? " y/n said smiling while extending her hand for him to shake .
The guy didn't bother to do anything he just kept staring at her .
" um this is rude, nevermind what's your name ?" Y/n still insisted on knowing this boy .
" Don't come here ever again. It's not a place to play in .." The boy said sternly .
" oh ! So you do speak ? That's great ! But wait I don't see what will prevent me from doing so . I mean everyone tells me that I have to stay away from here but whyy ? This forest is normal !"
Y/n said confused .
" do you perhaps know something that might convince me ?" The girl added .
" do you usually speak a lot like this ? " The boy said annoyed .
" And yes this forest is weird and there's no need to know the reason . You gotta go now . Your parents are probably worried about you ." He added .
" Look, I always come here, and I will do it until I die ! Wait, who are YOU, and what are you doing in this forest anyway ?"
The girl was furious at that moment .
Suddenly the guy grabbed a seed out of nowhere and started doing ... magic ?
Y/n was amazed by how he made the plant grow by just moving his hands . And with some few seconds the plant became a total tree .
" t-that's ... a-amazing ! I mean you're defenitly not human are you ?" Y/n lost her words by the magic .
" it's my job in this forest keeping everything fresh and beautiful . And yes I'm not human . By the way I'm chan And I'm sorry earlier I didn't greet you with my hands because I'm not normal ..."
Chan explained with a smile and then lowered his head at the last sentence .
" what do you mean not normal ?" Y/n asked confused .
" well ... if I touched a human I would DISAPPEAR for ever ..." .
