so just to start off, I've never written anything before so bear with me lol
This story will be following Dahlia Acosta and her journey as she escapes her abusive relationship. All domestic violence will be talked about in the past tense. She will have panic attacks and nightmares and all the things that go along with having trauma like that. This is going to be a somewhat basic mafia romance story, and it probably won't be the best thing you've ever read lol, but I will appreciate anyone who reads it immensely.
Now to meet the characters:
Dahlia is 23 years old and like 5'6. She's Hispanic with dark brown hair and tan skin but honestly you can imagine her however you want lol. I speak minimal spanish so I'm going to try my best to incorporate a little but if anyone wants to help me out with that, that would be great. I would put reference pictures but I don't really feel like looking for them lol so use your imagination.
Matthias is 27 years old and 6'4. He's Italian (yk bc it's a mafia book lol) Again, I will describe him, but you can use your imagination. I'm just giving an overview. I don't speak any Italian so I'm using google translate but if someone wants to help with that too I'd appreciate it.
There will be violence and killing. No main character deaths because that would just hurt me. I'll try and give any trigger warnings at the beginning of chapters if there are any. No third act breakup because I hate that. Happily ever after because I won't write anything else lol
