PRESS CONFERENCE was something Ningyi never expected to enjoy, let alone sitting on the chair for 4 hours straight while listening to the speakers and copying down the important key points. She has attended hundreds of conference ever since her school days and till today, yet this was only one of the few conference that she liked.
Her eyes was focused on the speaker while her hands quickly typed down on the laptop, noting down some of the important key points that could help her in future while everyone seems to do the same too.
They usually had their conference at evening but for today, they had it from morning around 8:30am and which means they'd be done 12:30 which was lunch time. Ningyi was glad with the timing arrangements because she planned to visit Nanwu while she was here and today was a great opportunity to explore around.
In a blink, the conference was over and everyone gathered their things and headed towards the cafeteria where lunch was served but Ningyi had other plans. She quickly collected her things and walked up to Jiaxu who was talking with someone else.
"Boss Duan, I will leave now. I will go and explore the nearest markets"
Jiaxu raised his brows "We can go together, I can show you around"
But Ningyi immediately refused him and gave a bow then escaped from the scene before Jiaxu could chase her or disagree with her. Ningyi made her way out of the hall with a bright smile and decided to walk on foot because Sang Yan suggested that she can go by foot and explore the area around.
Though it was afternoon, the weather was pleasant and it suited her taste. She turned on her Google Map and used the direction as guided. She came across a little cafe that displayed varieties of cakes and pastries that were tempting. She decided to eat her lunch so, she entered and quickly ordered a cappuccino with a sponge cake that looked delicious as displayed, a chocolate filling croissant with the cafe's main pastry, strawberry tart.
The cafe had a cozy atmosphere with warm-tone interior that made the cafe look more aesthetic and homy. There was a soft song played from the speakers with the sweet pastries aroma filling up the entire cafe that Ningyi didn't complain about. She patiently waited for her orders to arrive while playing on her phone, checking out places to visit after her little lunch.
MEANWHILE, Sang Yan decided to close his bar for the day since he wanted to play around and also give his employees a day off. He decided to grab lunch then head towards his golfing area and catch up with his old friends then play golf together.
