"Inez no! The other zide! No.. oh no no no. Juzt give it to me." Beth flew her hands up in surrender, taking the decorations from Inez.
She is getting extra energetic today in decorating the manor because tonight is already the start of the Dragon's Festival—the festival where they commemorate all the dragons that once roamed Andalusia, and.. the night before the solstice.
"Relax Beth, Rubeus can't enter the manor to see that anyway. You girls should take a break.." I said to them with a smile at the same time moving their butts to take a rest.
It's been weeks since that quest from Pagos, and we're now back residing at Clyde's Manor.. Both of them sustained minor injuries from getting out of that cave.
Thankfully, they did not fall asleep from the bird's singing. When the cave shook, they already found their way to the exit while I was still inside conversing with Adarna and getting the mana of purification.. Apparently, the guardian of purity was just doing its job to protect the mana from someone who will use it for evil.. like the sorceress which she warned me about.
A hundred years ago? Man, that was a long time. Does that mean she's still somewhere out there?
Those thoughts gave me chills.
Overall, everything in Mount Katharos happened so quickly, that I didn't have time to process it all.
Meanwhile, being back from Duke Damian's manor.. made me feel a little.. sad? Makes me feel like I'm missing something.
Could it be? The Duke?
I was lost in my thoughts—my cheeks slowly turning pink, when Clyde came up to me in the hallway.
"Are you ready to show off Rubeus tonight, princess?"
"Y-yeah, sure Clyde."
It totally slipped off my mind.
Now that the solstice is coming, we've decided to give the people of Andalusia the best night of their lives.. to let them finally see a real dragon for the very first time after how many years.
Furthermore, hopefully it would boost the soldiers' morale, that we have a dragon by our side as we face our enemies tomorrow.
As for our safety, the whole kingdom is under watch by soldiers who are on standby during the festival until the solstice. So, not a single soul will go unnoticed.

"Rubeus, you ready?"
Ever since I was born. He replied.
I laughed lightly at his jest and started climbing his back.
I wore a long lemon yellow-colored dress, with ankle boots on, to look graceful and at the same time, comfortable while riding Rubeus.
We positioned ourselves on top of a mountain overlooking the main capital of Andalusia. From our view, one can almost see the whole kingdom.
Beautiful, I thought.
I breathed in the scenery before me as the cold wind gently caressed my face. It was only months ago that I came here without any knowledge about this world, and now, here I am, trying to save it.
I took a glance at the area where the festival is to take place. In the middle, was a public square decorated with small colorful banners. The street leading to the square were filled with food kiosks and paper lanterns hanging on each side.
