Partner Project Gone Wrong.

"Mag partner-partner kayo para sa project. Deadline sa Monday."

Sir Christoval said as the class was about to end. The others looked at each other and started partnering up. After a few seconds, Mac and Brent almost immediately looked at eachother. Brent stood up and went towards Mac's chair.

"Mac, ikaw nalang partner ko ha?"

"...sige na nga." Mac said, almost reluctently since he knew that the rest of the class would probably ship the heck out of them if they found out their gonna do the AP project together.

In Am break, Mac went to Brent with the project questions in hand.

"Brent, ito yung mga questions oh."

Mac said as he placed the stack of papers on Brent's desk.

"Grabe ang dami naman nito."

"Kaya nga eh." Mac said with a sigh as he sat down next to Brent. Then, an idea went to him.

"Teka, pwede ba ikaw mag sleep-over sa bahay ko para sagutin natin toh? Saturday naman bukas, eh." Mac said as he sat up straight, waiting patiently for Brent's answer but his smile slowly faded away.

"Hindi ako papayagan." Brent said with a slight irritated and sad tone.

"Edi pano na yan?" Mac shrugged disappointedly. Seeing the expression of his "friend", Brent quickly thought of a solution.

"I mean... pwede naman sa bahay ko. Yung mom, dad at ate ko kasi mag o-overnight sa bahay ng tita ko." Brent said with a small reassuring smile.

Mac blinked at the suggestion and quickly got his phone to ask his mom if he could have a sleep-over at Brent's house. After a few minutes, Mac went to Brent.

"Pinayagan ka?" Brent said with a hopeful expression and a smile on his face appeared when Mac nodded.

"Lezz go!!!" Brent exclaimed loudly and some of the class side-eyed him while some didnt care/was used to it but still, he got embarassed and when he recalled his words, it made his face redden up a little. Mac chuckled softly at Brent's expression, finding it cute that he reacted like that.

Time skip. After class, the two boys went home together. Brent's parents wished them a good time but Brent's sister, Dia, went towards Mac and whispered in his ear.

"Kung gusto niyo ng inumin, tumingin ka sa drawer ng room ko, may 'juice' ako para sainyo mag-boyfriend.~"

She said with a wink as she walked with her parents to the car. Mac just stood there dumbfoundedly, not really knowing what she meant by her sus actions and her mention of them being bfs even though they weren't... yet. But just brushed it off.

"Maliligo muna ako tapos gawin na natin yung Project." Brent said as he grabbed his towel and walked towards the bathroom. Mac just nodded. "Sige, hintay nalang kita sa room mo." He then went into Brent's room.

Brent's bed was lifted above ground, stairs leading to it and acted as drawers for his clothes. A complete gaming set-up under it, a couch with an outlet next to it for easy access.

'Hindi ko alam mayaman pala si Brent..." He thought to himself as he flopped onto the comfortable couch, his eyes instictly closing slightly as he got comfy on it.
