Deep snarled as he managed to reach the door handle and unlock it.

Arohi rushed to the bathroom and locked the door, making him chuckle. "Really, Arohi? You think that'll stop me?"

He scoffed and roamed around the room. He saw a photo frame of her with him on the bedside table. Surprise sparked his face as he glanced at the bathroom and said, "See, I told you that you still love me. That's why you have a photo frame of us together."

Arohi stayed still as she heard him walk to the bathroom. "You took my favorite picture of us together. I was searching for this one yesterday but couldn't find it. I'm glad you didn't throw it away. I'll fix a bigger one on our bedroom wall."

She didn't reply. He shrugged and strolled his eyes around. He saw her suitcase in the corner and said, "I wonder what else you have brought here."

Arohi's eyes widened with tension. Her pregnancy and sonoyraphy files were in the pockets of the suitcase. If Deep saw it—

"Shut up. Just shut up. And leave." She scowled.

He tsked, "Nope. Not happening. Either you come out yourself or I'll wait here until you have to get out."

She mentally groaned, wondering why Tanu wasn't here yet. Dread spread on her face as she asked, "What did you do to Tanu?"

"Tanu who?"

She gulped. "The one who owns this house?"

He chuckled. "Oh. That girl. Nothing much. Don't worry, she'll live."

Tears filled her vision and she shook her head, "No... You didn't hurt her. What did you do?"

"Come out and I might tell you." He deadpanned.

She shook her head. "No."

"Fine. Let her stay in the ditch the whole night."

She gasped and opened the drawer of the bathroom. A gun was kept there. She was grateful Tanu had such things kept for emergencies.

She quickly opened the door and pointed the gun at him. "Let her go. She has nothing to do with this."

He didn't look surprise seeing the gun in her hand
