"The Force is like a beacon inside of you," Obi-Wan said.

Alessia was sitting in a medical chair somewhere deep within the Temple, the hallways and paths too intricate for her to have remembered exactly where they were.

There was an IV inserted into her forearm, drawing the sufficient amount of blood for her test while she leaned back, staring at Obi-Wan who sat nearby, talking her through the mind-boggling turn of events.

Everything was moving too quickly, but she was somehow thankful that there at least was something interesting happening in her life besides a brawl during her shift.

"You need to center yourself, forget everything that ails you and find that beacon to properly access your connection," he continued.

Alessia frowned, "Then why was I able to when that man—" she hadn't told anyone what he'd done. Alessia swallowed, "—when I accidentally killed him. Why?"

"Emotions and determination are good sources for finding balance within yourself. When you want something badly enough, like say, bringing that telescope there to you with the Force, it's not uncommon that feelings and want drive you there. Unsafe and potentially dangerous, but not uncommon."

The telescope that lay on a nearby table stared at her mockingly. It wasn't excessively large, but it was too big for her to even try and wrap her head around at the moment.

This was going to take hours— she was sure of it.

"But, we won't start there," Obi-Wan said, noticing her growing frustration already.

It would've been unreasonable for him to ask them too anyhow. Alessia has no idea how to properly handle her connection to the Force. It was only the last thirty minutes or so that she was beginning to accept its presence within her.

And, because she killed that man.

Not to mention the alarming fact that herself and everyone within that room knew of her home planet, and supposedly had been searching for someone like her for some time now.

"Will you tell me more about this... dynamic?" Alessia asked him with dismissed unease.

She forced her lips into a thin line, trying to appear as indifferent about it as possible despite her growing discomfort on the matter. Anakin Skywalker was not kind to her during their brief interaction.

And he clearly wanted no part in this arrangement whatsoever.

"I assume you're asking about Anakin?" He raised a brow from his seat.

The mechanised suction of her blood stopped then, the attendant gone in another room and too bothersome to try and contact at the moment. With a ding of the machine now holding the required amount of her blood, Alessia released a gentle sigh and redirected her attention to Obi-Wan.

"I'm asking about all of it," she corrected simply.

He pursed his lips, adjusting himself in his seat after casting a glance towards the room the attendant disappeared into.

"You are Anakin's new Padawan learner. Which means that he is your Master, and you're to learn the ways of Jedi from him. I'm going to inform you of the basics here, hopefully sending you to him by the end of the week. After that, you'll be by his side for as long as it takes."
