Chapter 1

The first day of school is always the hardest but also the most important day of the year for most people. Not for Cassandra Jones straight A student who all of her life didn't care about looking good all she really cared about were her grades. Many people were jealous of Cassandra because she was a straight a student and she had the looks because of that she would be called many things like bitch, whore , and even a skitch which just meant skanky bitch. But she never let that get to her she knew who she was deep inside. Whether Cassandra could except it she was very pretty she had light blue eyes ,long blonde ombre hair ,and perfectly tan skin. As she got ready that morning with her lucky jeans and a regular t shirt and some wedges she was ready but she didn't mind that her shirt wasn't brand new. They arrived to the school and Cassandra said

"Mom I can find my way you don't have to come in ."

It hurt her mom a little to hear her bumble bee (Cassandra's nickname) say that she didn't need her mom but her mother knew she had raised a wonderful daughter so her mom quietly said

"I love you have a good day I'll be back at 3:30."

Cassandra got to school an hour early so she sat down on the bench and just began to think about her summer and her life she thought about her mom first her mother's name was Alexandra Jones she had blue eyes and short silky hair ( it used to be long but she cut it over the summer.) Then as she began to think about what she had done all summer she suddenly saw from a tall buff guy walking towards the school since she was alone she got a bit scared. but as he got closer she seemed to calm down as if she knew him but he then saw her and said

"Hey you new to Northshore ?"

She was so nervous all she did was nod , he asked her why she was here so early and she said

"Why are you here so early?"

he said

" I asked you first"

So she told him that she wanted to learn her way around the school (which was not true)and he offered to help her for the first week of school. But before she could answer she asked what's your name he said

"I'm Nicholas Cruz but people just call me Nick I'm a Junior, how about you?"

she said

"I'm Cassandra Jones and I'm a Sophomore new at this school."

Okay let the tour begin Cassandra thought in her mind but it was not like that.
