IMLIE IN DANGER

Imlie has been walking for about one and a half hour but till now she has not seen even a single bird, let alone a dhaba. She was very scared because the road was completely deserted and she was just walking. Honestly, she was regretting not listening to Aryan and was cursing herself for not going with him and for coming alone on a path she didn't even know due to her ignorance. She was looking back again and again the whole time in the hope that she would see Aryan somewhere, but there was no trace of him anywhere. It was already evening, the effects of darkness were becoming visible, the sun was appearing completely red behind her, it would set completely after some time and then there would be darkness all around. Thinking about all this, Imlie is getting more scared. She gets lost in all these thoughts and keeps walking looking down, and then comes out when she hears the sounds of laughing and speaking. When she looks up, she sees that there are two bikes parked near a jeep and some people are sitting there. She becomes happy and quickly goes to them and asks.

Imlie : Listen, there is a dhaba somewhere around here, do any of you know how far away it is?

All those people look at her, they all look at her in a strange way from head to toe. When Imlie notices this, she starts feeling uncomfortable. Then she notices everything carefully. There are eight people there and all of them are men, some of them are sitting in the jeep and some are sitting on the park bike with their legs crossed on the side. They are all drinking and they are looking very scary. Just looking at them it seems that they are not good people. Imlie curses herself in her mind for coming near them and attracting their attention. She gets very scared. One of the men who was sitting on the bike got down and came towards her with an evil smile and speaks.

Man 1 : Yes, we know where that place is, we will take you there.

Imlie looks here and there, trying to find a way out from there. She gulps, but she doesn't show them that she is scared inside and speaks with confidence and courage.

Imlie : No, i can go myself.

Saying this, she turns back to leave quickly but one of the men comes in front of her and says.

Man 2 : Hey madam, where will you wander in this forest? Come with us, we will drop you in the jeep.

Imlie speaks angrily.

Imlie : I said, I will go myself. Get away from me.

But that man starts laughing loudly and all the other people also start laughing along with him. Imlie sees that all those people have now surrounded her and are circling around her. Imlie gets very scared and starts sweating even in such cold. She can handle all these people but they are more in number and she is alone. If there was someone nearby, perhaps she could have had the courage to handle them, but there is no one there to help her, so she is more scared. She starts looking for a way out from there, she looks around but all those people are standing around her. Then suddenly she pushes a man and starts running away. The man falls to the ground along with two people near him. Their friends help them. The man stands up and speaks angrily.

Man 2 : Catch her.

They all run after her. Imlie runs with all her might. In her hurry, instead of running straight towards the road, she goes into the forest from the side and those people also keep chasing her. After going some distance, Imlie hits a stone and falls, by then those people also come near her, she stands up but they all surround her again. As one of the men comes towards Imlie, Imlie punches him and the man falls down. That punch was so strong that blood came out of his mouth. Seeing this, the rest of the people look at her in shock, then two people go towards her but she punches one and kicks the other, due to which they also fall down. Then everyone comes towards her together, she manages everyone for some time but then two men hold her hands from behind, she tries hard to free them but their grip is very strong. Now Imlie has no idea what to do. She screams loudly but she knows there is no one there to help her. Tears starts coming from her eyes, she starts trembling, her whole body becomes tense, her brain stops working.
