Third POV
The party was in full swing, people dancing and drinking as loud music blared through the speakers. Kerry sat at a table, drinking and talking with a crowd of friends.
Faye caught his eye, and he gave her a smile. For a moment, he forgot about the people around him. All he could focus on was her. Kerry leaned back in his chair, watching her as she talked with party goers. His eyes were fixated on her, studying her every move. She began to make her way towards Samurai's table, taking a seat. As they began to pour shots, her eyes met his from across the room.
Kerry didn't break eye contact as she got up and made her way over to his table. He felt a flutter in his chest. The way she looked at him sent a wave of butterflies through his stomach.
He gave Faye a smirk, holding her gaze."Looks like someone is trying to challenge me again." He said, gesturing towards the shots.
"Might be. Are you gonna sit over here or come hang out with your friends?" She teased. Kerry chuckled, a smug smile on his lips.
"You're really cocky, aren't you? I'll come over there." He said, his tone playful. He finished his drink before standing up from the table and walking over to where you were sitting, taking the seat next to you. Johnny smiled at him.
"Well, well. You finally decided to show up. Where the fuck were ya?" He asked playfully. Kerry rolled his eyes at Johnny's question.
"Oh, you know. Talking with other people that aren't you, shocking isn't it?" He replied teasingly, a smirk on his face. Johnny grinned mischievously.
"Yea, is considering how in love with me you are." He retorted, the game fun to him. Faye piped up.
"If you two are done flirting, I'd like to drink Kerry under the table." Johnny chuckled at that while Kerry's cheeks flushed red at the comment.
"You're both insufferable." He chuckled. "Bring it on then."
As the night went on, the group drank way too much, and soon, 2 am rolled around. Johnny was slumped back in his chair, mumbling incoherently to himself in a drunken state. Kerry was doing better than Johnny, but he was getting a bit out of it. His eyes were slightly unfocused and he swayed lightly on his chair.
"God, I feel...dizzy." He muttered as he looked at Johnny, chuckling at his state. Faye didn't seem particularly drunk, just a little tipsy. She giggled at the sight of Kerry and Johnny, both in their respective states.
"Looks like you boys are ready to pass out." She teased, grinning at them.
"Hey, I'm still good. I could go for more." Kerry protested, his voice slightly slurred. He attempted to reach for another drink but missed the cup, knocking it over. This only made Faye chuckle harder.
"Nah, that's enough for you." Kerry flopped back in his chair, a pout on his lips.
"Fineeee, I guesssss I've had enough." He mumbled, eyes slowly drifting towards her, his drunken mind wanting to be closer. Faye rolled her eyes at his stubbornness.
"Yeah, and look how you're acting right now. You need to stop before you do something stupid."
Johnny chuckled from the chair across from them, clearly amused by the whole situation. Kerry shot a glare at Johnny, his eyes narrowing."Oh, laugh all you want." He grumbled before looking back at Faye.
"I'm fine, I promise. Just one more drink.." He tried to convince her, a pleading look on his face. Faye put her hand on his. Kerry's hand twitched lightly under her touch. His heart skipped a beat at the gesture but quickly squashed it down as he noticed Johnny watching him.
