Chapter 13: Culos organization

 
         Huban sat on a chair facing the pool and stylishly observed Mr Blackwood. The man just lay still inside the water. Suddenly he turned and looked at the direction of his room and frowned. Huban noticed this.

        Mr Blackwood came out of the water and without drying his body he walked to the staircase. Huban followed closely behind and when he saw he was going upstairs he quickly texted Jaxon.

       When he texted Jaxon Mr Blackwood was just in eye length but immediately he looked up he was gone. No matter how Huban viewed it, someone can't run so fast in that spilt of second...or so he thought. The stairs was long and even if he ran there was no way he could run so fast, and there was also the fact that Huban should have heard footsteps running upstairs but he didn't heard a step.

          He took a deep breathe "I hope he sees my text early enough to escape". Huban sighted.

     Jack turn to the window after receiving the message from Huban. He frowned and opened the window slowly, he looked around left and right to confirm that no one was watching so he could jump down again.

    As he held the window, he felt a chill on his back and immediately dodged to the left. Right where he was a moment ago, a light ball of energy struck there, just enough to shut down a human and not kill them. Jack stood up and looked at the culprit. Standing beside the door was a man wearing only his underpants carrying a towel, he looked somewhat different from when they saw him in class but he was Mr Blackwood.

     "C middle stage of cultivation, just as I thought" Jack spoke after confirming the level from the pressure from the divine sense from the man. It wasn't hard for him,he had lived for thousands of years already.

     "huh, Jaxon ? No how do you even know about cultivation" Mr Blackwood came closer recognizing his student. His expression turned dark after he paid attention to Jaxon. "Wait...you are not Jaxon" he narrowed his eyes "who are you and why do you possess Jaxon's body".

     "Hehe... as expected of a C middle stage cultivator, to think you'd be able to tell that I'm not that idiot with just a look" Jack laughed and stood straight while Jaxon twitched thinking to himself "does he really need the idiot part that much ?".

     Hearing this Mr Blackwood got alerted and scanned Jack with his divine sense and he saw with it that the boy was just a human, but that presence around him was different from what a normal human should have. " From that day you worked into the class I have suspected that there was something strange about you".

     Jack laughed feeling the divine sense around him " senior should already have an idea, no ?".

     The man narrowed his eyes " You came from    Culos organization  ?"

       Culos organization ? That wasn't what Jack was expecting but sure those words piqued him.

    "Culos organization ? What is that ?" Jack was confused.

     This time it was Mr Blackwood that was taken aback " you don't know ?".

   "No not at all senior Blackwood, in fact this is the first time I am hearing of such, tell me senior what is this Culos organization ?" Jack asked curiously.

   Mr Blackwood lowered his guard knowing that Jack couldn't cause him any threat. He stared at Jack and asked "I have checked you and you are truly nothing but a mere mortal, so how did you know my attack was coming and most importantly you dodged it precisely like it is not your first even though you don't have any cultivation or ever cultivated before".

    "Two main things, first you are wrong to say I didn't know you were coming, I had someone to keep an eye on you so when you left the pool I was alerted at once, you could have seen the person but you were hiding your cultivation so that didn't bother me. Secondly, I have felt divine energy before so when you accumulate it to send that low attack I felt the presence and instinctively dodged". Jack explained without blowing Huban's cover up.
