A young woman woke up from her sleep in her luxury quarters in the space station, from her bed she looked around the room, seeing the fancy sheets, furniture, and accessories in it. She then looked up at the ceiling, which had an image of the stars, making it seem like she was sleeping in the night sky. As the young woman groggily rose from her bed, the silverly-blonde waves of her hair draped along her back in cascades, spilling over her shoulders and stretching down below her waist. Each motion, each delicate movement sent the golden strands shimmering with life. She then walked over to her closet and began putting on her clothes. After she was done getting ready for the day, she went to the door and went outside her dorm room. She started walking down the halls of the station, the sleek white floors and walls showing the high class and extravnage of it. The walls had various decorations as well, like artwork, and a few windows that led to the outside of the station. As the girl continued on, she passed by a few people, but was mostly ignored. However, she caught a group of people looking and whispering at her behind her. She continued on and eventually reached the lounge room of the station. As she entered the lounge room, one of the few robots stationed in the room immediately turned it’s optics towards her. It then greeted and spoke with a polite tone.
“Good morning, Sofia!”
Sofia gave an acknowledging nod and went to one of the seating areas in the lounge. She sat on a couch and relaxed, taking her phone out and began scrolling through it as she waited for the day to begin. Before Sofia could continue on much, the robot then spoke up, getting her attention. It said.
“Miss Sofia, I have a notice. Mr. Bayne requests to see you.”
Sofia’s face seemed slightly surprised as the robot spoke the news. She seemed a bit curious as well, and asked.
“Did he say what for?”
The robot shook it’s head before answering.
“Mr. Bayne only specified that the reason for the meeting was because there are new arrivals, and he wishes for your presence.”
Sofia pondered for a moment before nodding in acknowledgement. She then spoke up towards the robot.
“Alright, tell him I’m on my way to his office.”The robot gave a nod in return.
As the robot left, Sofia got up from the couch and began walking towards the office. The hall leading to the office had no other people in it, giving it a more empty and spacious feeling. After a while, she eventually came to the office doors and knocked. The sound of footsteps from inside the office were heard approaching the door, and stopped right behind it. A few moments later, the door opened revealing the station’s supervisor, Matthew Bayne. The office itself was pretty spacious, with one larger desk towards back, sitting behind it was Mr. Bayne, but in front of him, sat a few other people Sofia hasn’t met before. The two chairs in front of the desk were also occupied, a man setting on the left, and a woman on the right. The man sitting had a laid-back and calm demanor, and the girl sitting right next to him had a serious look, but also a bit of tiredness in her expression.
