A/N: This was pretty fun to write. I've been playing Moemon recently and God I couldn't get this idea out of my head unless I wrote it. Hope you enjoy!

You wake up suddenly. You try to open your eyes, but your vision is quickly assaulted by a stinging pain, so you rapidly shut them. It's the sun, the familiar hot and bright sensation made you realize. It took you a moment to figure out that shouldn't be quite right if you're supposed to be indoors.
Rubbing your eyes desperately and reopening them, you promptly witness this isn't your shabby old parents' house. You stumble to get up before taking in your surroundings, and your mouth hangs open at the scene before you.
You are in an open field of a brightly green meadow of grass and flowers, seemingly on top of one of the many other distant hills as far as the eye can see. Even further, you can make out a blueish hue of what appears to be distant mountains.
Afraid and confused, you try to make head or tails of this strange situation.
"What's going on, where am I?! How did I get here?!" You scream at the top of your lungs, and the only response is the whistling of the wind and the swaying of the grass.
As a 13-year-old, still dependent teenager, you can't help but panic for a long time. By this point you shouted for someone to help you, or at least for anyone at all to show up as you found yourself all alone. Nobody heard you.
Was this an elaborate prank done by your parents? Were you kidnapped and then left stranded? Or did you die, and this was actually heaven? Your breathing becomes heavy and erratic, your heart pounding rapidly.
So you close your eyes and try to relax as you take in deep breaths, following the in and out motion repeatedly in an attempt to get over the panic attack that is suddenly taking hold of you.
After some time, with one last determined breath and the clenching of your fists you re-open your eyes that spark with a glint of determination. You recall one of the many survival videos you've seen on YouTube and TV shows like Bear Grylls.
You remember from your many TV teachers that the worst thing you can do in a survival situation is staying still and doing nothing.
Since you are in the middle of nowhere, then minimum you needed to do anything you could do to ensure survival. For instance, you needed to secure water, food, and shelter. As for protection, a spear is a man's best melee weapon since it's easy to make and provides distance between you and the enemy.
"Luckily for me, at least I didn't get stranded in a desert or an arctic," you thank God for small mercies, before you do a once over on yourself to see what you're wearing. Blue jeans, a red dark shirt, and worn semi-white dirty shoes in need for upgrade, which unfortunately aren't the best type for walking long distances either, but you guessed it was still better than nothing.
"Looking for water is the most important one. But... where should I look first?"
You look around you, your hand forming a shade for your eyes as you look through the vast distance. You already begin to feel anxious as everything looks the same, you can't even tell where East is since the sun is all the way up in the sky. As if fate was throwing you a bone, you caught in your peripheral vision things flying in the sky. Though the sun was blocking most of your sight, you could tell they were a flock of birds of some kind. Though the unrelenting sun made them look like dark flying shades, you could at least see enough to tell they were bigger than regular birds that looked somewhat different.
Flock of eagles, maybe? Or pelicans? Oh God, I hope I'm not in a stranded island.
Nonetheless, you wasted no time in following them. It was quite possible they would either lead you to a water source, or at least an area with plenty of small prey.
