Wakai's POV

The wolf pack walked up to Seabrook High, Wyatt gently holding my hand as we walked. We were all excited for the homecoming game, which would determine whether or not monsters could go to college. I wasn't going to go either way, and neither was Wyatt. But Willa and some of the other wolves were interested.

We walked up to where Zed, Bree, Addison, and Zoey stood by the football field. There were lots of students milling around in pink and green, excited at the prospect of the football game.

"You guys, tonight is our last chance to cheer at a Seabrook football game." Addison said excitedly. Bonzo sighed sadly, "Graz griz zog." Bree sighed as well and held his hand, "I know. I wish we could be cheerleaders forever too. Maybe we should flunk science so high school never ends." Bonzo, Zed, and Addison cringed. Bree giggled, "Nah, we just have too much chemistry."
Zed put his arm around Addison, "We are so gonna win tonight. And when we do..."Addison smiled, "We'll be together forever." I smiled, "Awww! Relationship goals!" Wyatt chuckled, wrapping his arm around my waist and resting it on my stomach.

I walked around with Willa and Wyatt trailing behind me, checking out the various things that were set up for the game. Another round of comets streaked across the sky, causing our moonstones to chime and glow red, which was unusual. Willa grasped hers in her tatooed hand.

"Our moonstones are acting weird, guys." She said curiously, "Something big is happening." Wyatt strolled back over from one of the tables covered in Seabrook merch. He was holding something behind his back. He grinned at Willa's comment, "Something big is happening." He took out a Seabrook High pennant, "Biggest football game in the universe." I giggled.

Willa rolled her eyes, "Just the biggest in Seabrook." A student came up to Willa and tried to give her some Seabrook-themed facepaint. She growled at them and scared them off. Wyatt sighed, "Come on. You know how important a win is for all us monsters. Seabrook needs you, cheer wolf." He grinned, displaying his fangs. Willa raised her eyebrows incredulously, "You want a fierce werewolf leader to rally a football team?" Wyatt waved the pennant and smiled. I smiled too, "Come on, Willa..."

Time skip to later

Willa howled as she stood on top of the football team's van, holding a giant poster reading: Go Mighty Shrimp. "Let's tear these Eastside Eels apart!" She yelled, "Destroy them! Yeah!" The crowd cheered and clapped. Willa smiled, knelt down, and scratched her claws across the top of the van, causing sarks to illuminate the dark evening.
Wyatt cringed, "Maybe just a bit too much school spirit." He said to Me, Zoey, and Wynter. I hugged him, "Maybe." But Willa wasn't finished, "Get our Mighty Shrimp on this bus so we can defend our turf. No outsiders mess with our pack. Yeah!" Everyone cheered louder. "When you're from Seabrook, you are Seabrook. Seabrook! Seabrook, Seabrook!" She chanted. Then she looked around as if she had just realised what she was doing, blushed, and quickly got off the van.

Just then, the tablet Zoey was holding rang. She answered, and it was Eliza calling from her internship. (Author's note: Fun fact! Did you know that the reason Eliza was only seen sitting down in this movie is because her actor, Kylee Russel, was pregnant at the time.)

"Hey, Eliza!" Zoey chirped. Wynter started and rushed over, "Eliza!" Eliza blushed, "Hey, Wynter." Wynter sighed, "I-I can't believe you're not here for this. We all miss you." Zoey giggled, "Who misses her the most, Wynter?" She said in a sing-song voice. I grabbed Zoey and put my hand over her mouth before she could reveal Wynter's secret.

Luckily the tablet, which was always glitching, had glitched right as Zoey had been speaking. Eliza frowned, "Wait, what'd she say? I couldn't hear what she said." But we were saved from answering as Addison stepped into the middle of the walkway created for the football team. I grabbed Wynter, "You've gotta go, Wyn!" I hissed. She nodded and ran off. Wyatt raised an eyebrow but I just winked at him. "You'll see." I said mysteriously.

"Okay, everyone!" Yelled Addison, getting the crowd's attention, "Let's give it up for our football team as they head off to victory. Here they come!" We looked at the big banner that the football team was going to run through, but instead, Bucky jumped through. I rolled my eyes at my brother. Typical Bucky, I thought.
"Thank you, thank you for coming to see me off for my big game." He said to the crowd. Addison shook her head. "You're not even on the football team, Bucky." He held up a finger to stop her, "Um, that's President Bucky. And as president, all accomplishments are my accomplishments. It's gonna be a banner year for me, now that I've organized the..." JC handed him a flyer and he read it, "National Cheer Off?" Bree frowned,  "Addison organized the Cheer Off. She invited squads from all over to compete."

We were distracted by Principal Lee firing up a nearby smoke machine, creating a cloud of smoke for the footballers to run through instead. Zed ran through first, followed by the rest of the players. The last one in line was shorter than the rest, and it took Wyatt a second to realise who it was. Then he gasped, "Is that Wynter?" He asked. I nodded, "She's going to be amazing!"

But Wynter seemed to be scared. Zed ran up to her and spoke to her quietly. Wynter nodded and they both howled. "This shrimp be cray!" Wynter screamed, running down to the bus. She crashed and left a Wynter-shaped indent in the metal. The crowd gasped and she turned to Zed, "Too much?" She asked. Zed shook his head and shouted, "Never too much! You do you!"
Addison walked up to us, "Hey, check out the recruiter from Mountain College. He looks nervous." I shrugged, "Well, he's never seen monsters before." I said sensibly. Addison nodded and walked over to where Zed, Zevon  and the College recruiter were talking. I walked over to Bucky nervously. I hadn't yet told him or my parents about my pregnancy, because I hadn't seen them since we recovered the moonstone.

"Hey, Buck." I said shyly. Bucky grabbed me and pulled me close, not noticing my fairly obvious bump. "Hey, 'Kai! I haven't seen you in ages! What you been up to?"

Then he frowned at me. "Wait." He said, "Something's off. I don't..." Then his eyes landed on my stomach. He gasped dramatically and pointed, "When did that happen?"

The aceys rushed over and gasped too. Lacey snickered, "Wow, Wakai. I didn't know werewolves were the same as rabbits." Bucky giggled. Stacey smirked, "What, did you have, like, a 'welcome to the pack' ceremony?" Bucky giggled harder. JC put his hand on his hip, "How old are you, again?" "15!" Bucky blurted, shocked. I sighed, "My birthday's in like, 3 days. Chill."

Bucky sighed, "Oh well." He said, "What's done is done." I looked at him, "Really? You're fine with it? You're not going to kill Wyatt?"

Bucky snorted, "No! Of course I'm going to murder him! You're my baby sister! But that can wait, because A: We're in public, and C: We're about to go to a football game." I sighed and shook my head, "This is why you had to repeat senior year so many times, Bucky." I looked at me in confusion, "What? What did I say?"

But I wasn't listeneing anymore. I was staring at the sky behind him, which was now filled with an enormous, blue, glowing, flying thing! It was a UFO! (Which in Seabrook, shouldn't have been so shocking, really.)

Wyatt ran up, distressed. He pulled me behind one of the cars that lined the street and we hid, gasping in fear.
