Charlie woke up to the Burgenstan (Burr-gen-stohn) morning chill. He woke up but wasn't fully awake. Realizing that he had the guard shift that week he forced himself out of his den. He walked down the court yard to grab his armer from the armery. As he walked down cats kept running past him yelling at him and at the cats coming, "Run! You have to run! Move it!" He kept moving but stopped as he heard cracking sounds in the walls above the armery's archway. He looked up to see a boulder from the castle walls fall on him. As he started blacking out he heard his colleagues rushing to him and moving boulders but he still blacked out.
He woke up about what felt like a minute later in the medical den. But something was off, different that the medics realized the moment they saw his confused, just woke
up face. He didn't know where he was or WHO he was. "Where am I?" He asked. The medics looked at each other,... guilty. "You where in a bad accident, Charlie." One said. He looked around, confused, as he asked, "Who's Charlie?" The medic apprentice looked shocked as they where his sibling. "That's you! Charlie! I'm your sister! Icicle! Me and Bone, our brother!, have been worried sick!" The apprentice said tears filled her eyes. "I'm sorry. I don't know you..." He said guilty. His sister ran past him to leave the room.
The medics looked at him, "We think, for your safety, you should leave the Kingdom of Burgenstan." He looked at them, "Why? I mean,.. I don't know you at all, how do you know what's good for me?" The medics couldn't bring themselves to tell him, "Your name is Charlie. You have lived here in Burgenstan your whole life. I know you don't remember anything, but,... it's for the best that you leave the country."
